Clearly I'm not a big time rapper but I'm from Baltimore. Check out my newest track.

Nicky DoRight - Every Single Time

Richmond isn't DMV. Richmond and 757 are different worlds. Its the south down there. Dickies, flight jackets, air force 1s, gold teeth, designer frames, old school cars etc

This is old, but this couldn't be further from the truth. DC has more of a southern accent than either location.

757 has more of a north influence, because of the colleges and military. It's one of the places along with North Carolina where people from the north go for retirement, cheaper and family living. 757 is full of transplants and half the people aren't originally from here.

New DC bumped this thread . Glizzy done blown up since 2012. And Fat Trel career has gone down :smh:

757 is def "southern" compared to DC. But it's more northern influenced than the other places in central and southern va.

I got fam there. Dudes was rocking the full coogi and Rocawear sets in 2010 with southern accents . These were street ***** though. Shoutout to Ingleside :pimp:

Some old heads are always going to wear what they always wore. That happens in any city. Some people in DC and PG County don't still dress like it's 92? and we're not even going to talk about Baltimore.

Being from the north, and living here, I can speak on what I see. Suffolk, Portsmouth and some parts of Norfolk are different because a lot of them contain a cycle of poverty, but from the most part you run in to people with no accent or transplanted. Pharrell is pretty much the representation of this generation from Hampton Roads.
