I think a big part of it for me is just being to talk and clown with the people you play with. When I play cod and battlefield me and the homies hardly ever discuss the what's going on in game, we just talking **** and clowning. I just don't see why Nintendo still acting like its 1985. I would love to talk trash to my bros while playing MK8 and Smash

They're ways around that though. You could implement parental settings which could disable voice chat hen the kids are online. It is what it is though, Nintendo gonna Nintendo. We just gotta take the good with the bad.

A Pokemon MMO would be nuts, especially if you didn't have to pay a sub. It'd be a great new IP to debut alongside the "NX".

But STILL didn't make a profit till YEARS later
