If Shane battier can guard west in the post like he did last year. Then melo can figure it out also.

I don't remember that series last year, but Here's the problem with that.

Shane is pretty much only asked to play defense and hit a open 3.

Melo carries that team offensively, so now dude had to work on defense to guard someone who is bigger and stronger while being harassed all the time by Paul George on the other side.

I'm all for throwing melo under the bus, but he can't do it all. ESP against a stout defensive team like Indy.

I wonder how many other times that has happened - DPOY is not even 1st team all defense. Weird.

I'm glad I started picking up baseball like 3-4 years ago. 

I think it was right after the 08 olympics when I decided I needed to make the jump

I've tried. I just can't get into regular season baseball, aside from actually going to a game (but even then its more about drinking beer and eating hot dogs than watching the game).
