I was about to ask the same. I'm hoping he was mistakenly describing someone else, cause that would make me not buy this at all :lol:
 
Some of yall are tripping. For the most part this is vintage Gibbs.

The hook on Careless is mainstream? What?

Gibbs been switching up tempo and accelerateing/decelerating his delivery since the miseducation/boxframecadillac days. That IS vintage Gibbs.

Packages/Mexico are pretty clear attempts to replicate and capitalize on sounds that have been "hot" the past few years but they're still good, particularly Mexico.

Basketball Wives is unadulterated commercial trash. He don't get a pass for that one. Cold *** ***** is also way below dudes standards.

Overall though this **** is dope, great mix between ESGN and BFK type records.

McDuck, Careless, 10 Times, Rearview some of my favorite work from Gibbs in years.

Lastly, if nobody @DipsetGeneral knows **** with it, you know unequivocally that's a good thing. :lol:

Exaggeration on my part. His voice and sometimes the slurring of bars on a couple tracks took some getting used to though. Basketball Wives is so damn bad though. Don't know what the hell my dude was thinking about with that. Packages grew on me, but that Manmade Savage cat is as bad as Basketball Wives is. Everything else is solid. Forever and a Day and Freddie Gordy are flames. Love everything about Extradite. Album is definitely solid, aside from Basketball Wives.

Got this in the mail a couple weeks ago. Shadow of a Doubt grew on me heavy too. Basketball Wives still trash though.
