royal's definitely aren't better then bred's or shadow's, and are the worst of og lineup. i'd even go as to say that they're a bred ripoff.

i thought shadow's were boring as hell as well, and then i got them hand. it's the the most convenient shoe i have. also, I brought the royal's after buying the shadows to see if an in hand would change my prospective as well and nothing. not for me.

It's all good. Despite what some ignoramus insists, I don't usually rag on anyone's opinions on sneakers unless it's overly negative or illogical. You not feeling them is perfectly fine.
However, I must say, describing shadows as "convenient" or saying they "go with everything (a very common sentiment)" doesn't really change my opinion that they're boring. That's fine, and it's a good sneaker, it's just not exciting.

U must not have shadows...i have both pairs and shadows wayyyyyyy better than royals imo. Leather quality not even close royals got that payless plastic black leather. Like homie said exact ripoff of bred.

The quality on Shadows is absolutely better, but the colorway is boring AF. I have zero interest in them.
I didn’t like the quality on my Royals at first, but they’re breaking in very nicely.

Oh ok yeah i can see how the royals can be more vibrant i guess. I just favor my shadows more cuz they are softer plushier feeling and easy to wear with anything plus im a raider fan lol. Im gona have to wear my royals more often then and give them a good break in.
