They come up a little short. Was trying to figure out what was 1 2 3 in terms of quality using the "new" mold only.

The leather quality on them is better than everything outside Frags and SBBs in the new mold

I'm not qualified to answer that. Don't have them.

Might hold true. LMs is on another playing field with the dual layer paint.

I prefer the Chicago and UNC leather over the LM.

Once the color is stripped the leather isn't as nice.

I don't know, all the recent remastered have been pretty similar. I know the sbb are a cut above but I feel they're all worthy of being in any collection.

Been a minute since I seen my Chis but only would say off 1st impression. The CM joints take the cake. After seeing some pictures of worn pairs I might have to retract my statement. Don't own metallics and so far as frags people swore they were great quality. I would say that laser leather is very nice as well.

CM definitely broke in the quickest of mine. My Chi still don't have creases in the toes and I've played drums in them MANY times lol. The Metallics are butter I should pull them out it's been a while.
