So I have a question, I know how polarizing the Black Gums are but can't remember if the Jeters and NY23 were too. They're not exactly simple color ways like the Shadows, etc.

The Jeters are out there. I can see the love for the Black Gums or NY 23. I prefer the BG out of the three, imo.

Yeah I had to sleep on the shadows when released. Put my foot in mouth about buying my wife the fire red 4s and cop myself a pair too. Bought them a week later for 190. Now they are dope but when I put them breds on, nothing touches them. Don't own the Royals btw but I'm pretty sure my thinking would be the same

What you see is a very sophisticated toebox. Unlike the dunk. The jordan 1 grabs you from the bird's eye view.

Eh, the holy trinity is even all around I guess. I'm just more partial to the shadows because they're so lowkey.

Personally, i like Black/Reds and Royals more than Shadows; however, i think my shadows get worn the most because basically they go with almost anything i wear, whereas royal or red shoes might not always work.
