lol cyber Monday leather with out a doubt is softer and seemingly higher in quality than both the chocagos and unc. I have all three

Definitely agree with you on CM vs Chi's. UNC's and CM's are pretty tied together in my book. Both are very soft. I think UNCS might be slightly softer though.

I also have all 3 and I think the Chicago's have much softer and better leather than the cyber monday's.
That being said I had 4 pair of Chicago's and only 1 pair of CM's so maybe I got a bum pair of CM's (all 4 of my Chicago 1's were better leather than the CMs)
(Cyber Monday's aren't pictures because my avatar pic was taken before they released, It was taken right when the UNC's released)

Quality wise=more accurate to OG IMO i.e. feel/look/density/sheen of the shoe:

SBB are just premium, pumped up, buttery kicks (which is enjoyable for sure) but inaccurate as are the 2016 b/reds where it's "premium" but very exaggerated to 1985

I heard the larger sized CM'S were softer than the smaller sizes. Mine are definitely softer than Chi's. I mean they're all good though. Remasters over everything from 02-black gums. Exception being 2014 Black/Whites

Why/how does "softer" necessarily equate to "higher in quality" though? I dont understand. No, Chis and UNC are just as "high" in terms of quality as CMs are. Y'all kill me with always going out of y'alls way to 1 up one remastered pair over another. As if they all aren't remastered versions. All of them have "good quality". Sure they may have slightly different textures but they all have good quality nonetheless. They couldn't have made Chicagos any better IMO. Any softer and the shoe would rip apart after a few wears. Y'all act like y'all want the leather to be soft as socks to be considered "good quality", jeez. CMs are nice but at the end of the day they're no Chicagos so the fact they are soft really is a mute point IMO.

I don't see why it's so hard to understand. I feel we can all agree the entire remastered series is definitely better than what has been dished out the last decade+ but to not see differences in "quality" is amazing. Don't get me wrong it's not like comparing 2014 black/gums vs. 2014 OG black/whites. Nobody in their right mind will say the Gums have better quality leather and they both have the same mold and both are smooth leather. One leather is just better than the other, simple as that. To me arguing over which remastered is better is more nitpicking than anything else but there are differences. Most people I feel equate leather quality with texture, feel and overall comfort and durability of it. I also equate it with wearablity meaning how it will look over time. It's like how people (NT) say creasing on AJ 1's look dope; it's really the pairs that have decent leather quality where that applies and anyone who says different needs to stop it. just stop it.

Size 12 wearer here. My CMs are definitely softer than my Chicagos. Both are great though. I see the biggest difference in the toe box. The CM were creasing from day one pretty nicely. The Chicagos have yet to have an honest crease
