I never said the almighty Jordan was worth the price their charging. But don't think because you spend more on dress shoes that they are totally worth it. Once again no shoe is worth it. You think a six figure car is really worth six figures?

I get where you are coming from, but I beg to differ.

if you pay 800 for a pair of dress shoes, they will last you 15 years minimum, if you take care of them. Add in 600 for 4 sole changes and service over the course of 15 years, you end up paying 7.78 per month.

I think that is a good deal, IMO.

Anyway, we are venturing off-topic.

I think you need to look into different qualities of leather on dress shoes. I've said this before ( and I'm not the only one) the ' leather' on most sneakers and Jordan sneakers isn't the skin of a cow. At best its the layer under the skin 'Split leather', at worst it is 'Bonded leather'  (reconstituted leather).

a pair of Churches, John Lobb, etc.., that is real leather. 

As beautiful as a pair of Jordans are, don't be fooled into thinking the leather is of high grade. chemicals and whatnot make it soft.

Not trying to cause a dispute, trying to be helpful.

My original point was that I'd pay $300+ for Chis, Breds, Royals, Shadows, and a few other other classic CWs for the original shape and leather that resembles something that would be used on a nice dress shoe.

Especially in place of pinnacles.

Even if Banneds came tomorrow for $290 without all the Xs you guys wouldn't cop (pretend the 16 B/reds hadn't just came out)?

I sold my 2009 metallic green, 2013 bred, royal, shadow, blacktoe and my 2014 blk/ white from this pic awaiting for remastered pairs to release. I also copped 10 pairs from this year and 8 pairs from previous years not shown. I'll post this years pick-ups at the end of the year after the Kentuckys.
