Just spoke to an Eastbay rep and got my shipping upgraded and fee waived said they are still waiting on the shipment once it's received they will ship them out I'm getting impatient but still have hope. Every time I've spoke to them they've been prompt and consistent on there info

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time - thank you!

EastbayRep - Christina
Eastbay rep can you get the upgraded shipping for everybody that had this problem? I think it's only fair....

For those in the San Gabriel Valley area iKicks in Monterey park, ca got a late shipment of AJ1 Knicks. Sz 9-12 are gone but I know they had 8.5. Not sure if they take phone orders but you can try (626) 872-0062.

Well I bit the bullet and picked up the Knicks today from local store. Even tho I was on fence wit these I figured I'd rather pay retail now than regret it later and have to pay later. Now waiting for the Royal Blues

The Knicks is a rare win for JB IMO. I think a lot of people are gonna be mad they didn't pick these up.

But how can you sell something you do not have?

All shipments have tracking numbers, why can't you track them and find out when you're going to have the shipments?

Selling a product on backorder is a common practice. I've had it done with amazon and best buy.

It's not Eastbay's fault they didn't get their shipment from Nike when they were supposed too.

Bay Area folks, today went by shriek at valley fair mall, and saw the knick 1s on display, don't know size run tho, better give em a call first.

hey diakonos, do they sell shoes for retail or is there a markup? since i just saw your post now, hopefully they'll still have that size 8.5 tomorrow since i don't live too far from mpk...

Just grabbed a size 11 Knicks at Sheik in Memorial City Mall(Houston) they had 11.5 and some smaller sizes left.

I remember a few months ago when I complained about Eastbay and got killed by most on this board for it. Now it's ok to bash Eastbay.....

It makes no sense. Complaining to the people up here? They're not management at Eastbay. They're not IT.

Would you get tired of hearing complaints all day about YOUR company. What your company did and needs to do. They just collect a check and perform a service just like anyone else.

i struck out twice on release day on finishline and eastbay, seeing the issues with eastbay right now; i'm glad i struck out cause i just bought a pair of the knicks on ebay for $155 shipped :pimp:

Expecting my Knicks pair to come this Tuesday from WCS.

Service was delayed because of a midwest storm.

:rolleyes

So excited to finally get my pair and grace you all with my pics (and my AJ1 collection so far).

Pics will come with my next post.

In case you haven't noticed, Eastbay has employees monitoring this board and responding to threads....

As for my situation, I called Eastbay first and got nothing from them, you know "it". So I shared my situation(complained) to other members of this board so they wouldn't be caught in the same situation I was. When a business makes a poor decision that impacts customers there are consequences. If companies are just hiring employes who just collect a paycheck, that is a huge problem. Too many companies are ok with employes who take no pride in their work. No pride in their work equals crappy customer service. You can put up with that, but I won't. Haven't spent a dime at Eastbay since my issue.

This is what this board has become in the 10+ years that I have been a member, people acting and assuming they know about something when they have no clue.

What are customer service reps? Those are the people monitoring the board. They're the same ones you call on the phone. You think one of VP's Vice President sits on NT?

You're the one who has no clue.

BTW, what are the consequences

Customer service reps are PAID EMPLOYEES of Eastbay! Holy crap, their job is to monitor this board, answer questions, and help Eastbay customers. If that isn't the case why the hell are they posting on this board? Obviously Eastbay VP think its important enough to have people here, so they must care some.

Your right, crappy customer service has no consequence....doesn't effect companies bottom line. Companies don't lose business because of the business decisions they make.

Now run back to making fries at Mickey D....if I didn't know better I would say you were a regular jackass.

I'm not even going to back and forth with you, because you're beneath me, literally and figuratively. :smh:

Quick question.. how was the Knicks  quality compared to the Bulls was it the same ? just curious, cause i was wondering if the only reason they charged more for the Knicks  is because of the Nike Air tag.. my fault if this has all ready been explained but really haven't followed the thread  since after rd

i remember some dude said they talked to eastbay and got upgraded and waived shipping fee, does anyone have proof of this? i just talked to eastbay and they said unless there's proof, they can't offer anything like that to anyone else?

not that the quality of the knicks was terrific but they where much better than the bulls, bulls was like a plastic hard leather, while the knicks where more or a soft leather higher quality. plus the insole of knicks had a apple with a headband n #7 as the stem. not that it really matters if u wear them, but still cool. pretty much everything was better quality than the bulls,

Wore my Knicks today literally seems to me to be the exact same leather. Both chi and Knicks right shoe seems to be something just not on par with left. Only way to explain is first few steps put a harder deeper crease in it than left shoe. In the chi forum a few people mentioned also. I'm not worried about it tho have seen other leather products do same thing I think it's like a wax coating of some sort.I'd be willing to bet the 40$ increase is only tongue and colorway. If really scrutinized I will admit my og had some sloppy glue job where Knicks didn't.
