depends which one you like more. A lot of people here hold nostalgia to the Royals. Both are priced about the same. I personally like the royals more just by a little, used to own 2 pairs of 01 royals and loved them. But I really do like the frags, mainly because i like the color blocking of the black toe (red's) too. Started this year with no royals and no frags, but I picked up frags first and then went for the royals. But if I can only choose one, I'd pick Royals just because I like them more and what they mean to me, versus hype, price, and retro-ability

Frags = pieces of the Royals aka fragments. Frags can't replicate the royal's legacy. Think breds and blk toes.

royals are gonna retro 100% in the future, you might wait awhile but they'll be out again. chances of frags retroing are pathetically low, what are the last limited Js to retro? db3s?

Does that really matter. We talking about side shots str8 up. Ppl with frags on got the tail end of what the royal possesses. I do understand haves and have nots but whether they release or not. They can't be adopted in the trinity because of hype

that is a weird and confusing analogy. No matter if Frags have a "piece" of what the Royals are, Frags are still nice. Black Toes are nice too, and i don't consider them a poor man Bred's. @edmunddantes2 I say get the Fragments. Not part of the trinity but quality trumps any of the RETRO trinity at least.

Seeing most people say they would take Fragments over Royals. For me Royals is my Favourite OG Jordan that was not worn on the court by MJ. Below is some pics of my well worn in royals. # wear your shoes
