a Smart person would not buy a shoe that cost $160 at retail marked up by some idiot to $1000

another example via wiki:

 "ground pilot"

If you have brains you would not hand over $800+ over retail.

Let me clarify: a lot of money to spend does not necessarily mean you are intelligent.
money does not buy brains or class or common sense.

I've seen plenty of idiots pay big bucks for a shoe and a month later try to pawn it off for half of what they paid because their light bill needs to be paid.......

That individual obviously does not have his or her piorities straight.

All of the money I use on any of my hobbies is money set aside from my budget to do so.

If I chose to spend the entirety of my monthly budget on one item - then so be it, but I do not stretch pass my budget for the month.

Bills/savings > budget for social outings > budget for hobbies

Here we go again with people worrying how others spend their money. If you got it like that and it makes you happy go for it, you only get one chance at life and if it makes you happy that's all that matters. Obviously if you are spending that kind of money on a shoe and you cannot eat / pay bills etc, then you have your priorities mixed up lol. So it's okay to spend $800 on 4 pairs of GR Jordans, but if you skip those 4 pairs and pay for one shoe you really want then you're dumb? Okay, I couldn't care less what other people do, it doesn't effect me, so do you.

Almost a week since it's release, and Facebook groups still has as much salt as the Dead Sea.

700

Lmao! That's how the Chi thread was during release day

This hobby is mainly funded from the profits I get from resellin lol. Flip shoes to get kicks I actually want. Only way wifey will let me continue to collect haha. Also makes me feel better knowin I'm not taking anything out of my actual paycheck. Funds just get circulated in my PayPal acct lol.

I'm not worried at all about how you or anyone else here spends their money.

I have an opinion about people spending more money than what the MSRP is.

I have purchased many cars for far below sticker.

If I can get a $50K car for $39K, why would I give someone my hard earned money to someone that got a shoe for retail and then wants a cut?

Simple as that.

I've got more shoes than the days in a year.

I've got more beaters than days in a month.

Another pair? sure.

For more than what they sold for?  No.

Young people call that "being cheap"; I call it wealthy.

Hit the nail on the head.

Seriously feel bad for some of yall. Living paycheck to paycheck since all that money is spent on sneaker so

Living outside your means

Copped the Family Forever 1's. Quality is superb.
Yeah, I grabbed a second pair for $150 last month. My first pair is a regular daily wear to work. Goes great with a lot of things and the quality and comfort are excellent.

Once my Chicago's come in tomorrow I'm going to post a shot of my 17 pair 1 collection for you dudes.

Well I sold a couple pairs of my collection to fund it. Ended up paying like $360 for a size 12, 240 out of pocket after my profits on the other two pairs, and I'm meeting up with an NTer a few miles away tomorrow to trade the 12 for his 11.

In the market for a pair of black/red 1's,

can anyone help rank the recent bred 1 releases by quality, from best to worst?
