Damn fedex pisses me off I changed my delivery so it could be held at the FedEx office by my house and they took it back to the hub and now I gotta await for Monday

Here is a tip when it comes to FedEx. As soon as you have tracking # you can call them and have it held at local facility. Just remember to do it before it goes out for delivery or else you will add an additional day.

Updated collection with Chicagos, regret letting go of my 85s (Chicagos) if only they weren't a 10.5 I need 11-11.5 if I want a comfortable fit

Need now barons and low black Reds to complete the pairs I need and will be on the fence when it comes to backboards and and unc I prefer ones with darker colors.

For the AJ1 being the proverbial cash cow for JB now I wonder why they made a mockery of the model for so long?

Patents...Mids...Phats...Andonized...incorrect materials on retros...ect.

Just doesn't make sense. It's like they finally decided to try and do things "right".

Even the AJKOs. Released "vintage" with the dirty midsole/outsole and wrong outsole at that only to be released right a few years later.

They just have a hardcore following. They're a really good looking shoe and the fanbase for them is much more "diehard" than the people who go out and buy any retro on any saturday.

   Here we go again with people worrying how others spend their money. If you got it like that and it makes you happy go for it, you only get one chance at life and if it makes you happy that's all that matters. Obviously if you are spending that kind of money on a shoe and you cannot eat / pay bills etc, then you have your priorities mixed up lol. So it's okay to spend $800 on 4 pairs of GR Jordans, but if you skip those 4 pairs and pay for one shoe you really want then you're dumb? Okay, I couldn't care less what other people do, it doesn't effect me, so do you.

Well, hypebase or fanbase spending $750 on a pair of shoes actually made in 1985 shows some form of loyalty to the shoe.

But the shoes going for $400 twenty minutes after release doesn't bring extra money to JB, just the owner of the shoes.

Well "technically speaking" the shoe first debuted in 1985 but I see where you're coming from. Spending 750 in the aftermarket is alot different than 750 at retail. Spending 750 at retail is "loyalty", spending 750 in the aftermarket just shows much a person values (places worth on) them.

No, I'm talking about buying OGs and wearing them. Seeking them for wear purposes. It's insane the amount of devotion people have to 1s, definitely intense.

Not necessarily. If most of these people buying OGs after the 2013 releases, then they're only doing it to have what most people dont have IMO. Dont get me wrong, everyone in here would love a pair of OGs (if they dont have em) but I would want it for collection purposes, not to wear. Doesn't make much sense to me to get a 30 year old pair to wear when there is a newer version out. Yes quality is a lot different but I don't see it as much of a difference maker
