The whole notion of chubby aka male sarah palin being smart for using the tax loopholes is whoefully incorrect & laughable. Edward McCaffery, a Robert C. Packard trustee chair in law and a professor of law, economics and political science at the University of Southern California said it best -

1. There is no evidence whatsoever that Trump, himself, understands the tax laws benefiting him. The New York Times article indicates Trump's own tax accountant found him inattentive, and nothing that Trump has said in public has revealed a deep knowledge of the tax code. Trump does, on the other hand, have a frequently revealed fondness for debt, or using "other people's money."

2. Trump's own tax proposals would actually close down none of the remaining tax "loopholes" benefiting debt. Indeed, Trump's plan would greatly encourage and reward debt. I had forgot to mention that and I'm surprised it hasn't been made a bigger deal.

It's a joke to think that Trump himself was clever enough to maneuver the tax code in a way that would save him up to a billion dollars. All he did was hire someone else to do his taxes.

How Trump can take any credit for being "smart" with his taxes is beyond me. The only "smart" thing he did was not handling his own taxes because we all know what happens when Trump tries to handle his own finances (he loses 960 million dollars).

It's similar to Trump trying to take credit for writing "Art of the Deal."
