^^^ That was expected, Clinton not being President meant the few steps the Obama administration had the power to take were going away.

They are tons of dude praying that their can get their sentences commuted or granted pardons before Obama leaves office too. :smh:

3 coal plants have been shut down so far, and 8 more coal plant closures are happening in the near future in Michigan.

Looks nobody will be using coal from the coal jobs that Trump will bring back.

A newer coal plant in Monroe is expected to last into the 2030s, Anderson said, but it will likely be the last coal plant running as the company moves toward natural gas and renewable energy, and away from coal entirely.

"I don't know anybody in the country who would build another coal plant," Anderson said.

I'm saying though. Some power companies have straight up said "Trump or no Trump" we are not using coal anymore.

But delusional people think it just Obama's regulations. :smh:

These jobs are not coming back.

*cough* natural gas is dirt cheap cuz of da fracking revolution...dont tell that to environmentalists..

*Cough* You sound silly, we are talking about coal, natural gas is a substitute for coal in energy produce.
.
*Cough* you frack more, you get more natural gas, you lower the price for it which makes people use natural gas more, and less coal.

*Cough* you plan only kills off more coal jobs

*Cough* you just unknowingly proved my point because of your ignorance of energy markets and basic economics.

*Cough* you can go sit your *** down in a corner now

*Cough* *Cough*

environmentalists are equally opposed to natural gas as they are to coal..you can't pick and choose where u want to apply Trump's energy policy [emoji]128695[/emoji]

now u go sit down somewhere, preferably with da green party.

Oh look, the goal post have moved because you got proven ignorant about another thing.

We where talking about coal, you wanted to run your mouth, for what reason I don't know. The fact remains fracking will hurt coal.

And my post was about coal jobs.

Might not be fully what I mean but stop changing the subject matter. You were just proven wrong about your point, point blank. Just admit it and move on. Don't try to grasp a part of your argument and make an argument about something else.

Trump's policies are pro ALL fossil fuels..

Obama wasn't, which is da main point...

wacko environmentalists already got their guns aiming at fracking, and Obama roping off drilling from basically everywhere is placating that strategy.

Trump bout to let ALL of it rock, oil, coal & gas & let da chips fall where they may.

-You quoted me and Gry60. The discussion was about coal jobs.

You can't dictate to us, what the main point of the discussion was. Only now, you trying to move the goal post to save face. Hell, you not even moving the goal post, you're straight up trying to change the subject on the sneak.

-And wasn't Trump suppose to bring back coal jobs? Not let the chips fall where they may, he was suppose to bring those jobs back.

And I'm point out, if we frack more, those jobs aren't coming back, and there is no way for Trump to keep that promise.

Congrats, looks like you're already practicing moving the goalpost to defend Papi.

Well done, Edwin. To bad it didn't work.

That's terrible. I really don't think anyone deserves to be in prison for extended periods unless its for something violent. Better for the economy to just deport them than to imprison them, isn't it?
It's better for prison companies and their investors to keep a steady flow of prisoners in those cells. They could care less how this effects working class/ poor communities.

[h1]ND governor orders evacuation at pipeline protest camp[/h1]

North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple (R) is ordering an immediate evacuation of the camp hosting protesters against the Dakota Access oil pipeline.

Dalrymple issued an executive order for the evacuation late Monday, citing the state’s concern over expected harsh weather during the winter.

“Any person who chooses to enter, reenter, or stay in the evacuation [area] does so at their own risk, and assumes any and all corresponding liabilities for their unlawful presence and occupation of the evacuation area,” Dalrymple wrote in the order.

The order comes three days after the United States Army Corps of Engineers, which owns the land that hosts the protest site and is responsible for the decision on whether to permit the Dakota Access project’s developer to build under Lake Oahe, said it would close the federal land to protesters Dec. 5.

Dalrymple spokesman Jeff Zent told the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead that the state will not forcibly remove protesters.

The Army Corps made a similar caveat in its own evacuation order.

Members of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, along with other American Indians, environmentalists and others have been at the protest site for months, and have prepared to stay there through the winter.

They’re trying to prevent the Army Corps from issuing the Lake Oahe easement, the final approval Energy Transfer Partners needs to finish the project. The protests and clashes with law enforcement have turned violent numerous times.

Opponents say the project threatens the Standing Rock Sioux’s water supply and sites that they find sacred.

Energy Transfer, along with Dalrymple and other Republican leaders in the state, say that the claims are unfounded.

umm my position has always been couched in da reversal of Obama's punitive policies regarding fossil fuels...u grasping at just coal while ignoring da fact that Fracking and drilling ALSO is under attack by environmentalists pandering regulations is being disingenuous or naive..u choose

da bottomline is Coal won't go under da sword from onerous regulations, it'll be part of Trump's all energy policy...many of those jobs will be saved under Trump over scenario where Hillary would've won.

people are so greedy and short-sighted.

we need to squeeze out every last one of fossil fuels rather than be smart about it. why? because people don't want to learn new job skills?

Let's just gamble on this idea that climate change is a hoax.

if u would've picked any coal stock on November 8th by today it would've been a richer man.

Peabody Energy Corp., the world’s largest private coal mining company, led the pack in stock performance, rising by as much as 59 percent over Tuesday’s close in the OTC Markets Group market.

Yo, Rosie is out of pocket with the tweet about Trump's son maybe having autism. Same with the weak justification for how it will bring awareness to autism.

You do know that Peabody Energy Corp isn't even listed on the S&P 500 anymore and filed for bankruptcy in April 13, 2016....plus the company is $8 billion dollars in debt currently
So while the short selling could be a little profitable, you would be a fool to invest in the long run given how management runs the company.

And if you look at the current chart, the price of their stock is very volatile by each day

So no thanks to your financial advice.

people are so greedy and short-sighted.
Never forget, those greedy people live by these quotes:

Trying to explain the horrors scientists say will happen to our planet in the future will result in the least possible dambs given: None.

They couldn't care less about the future generations, because all they care about is themselves, right here and right now.

Climate Change, in the form of heat and drought, is already destabilizing the Near East and Northern Africa. We're arguing over whether or not the President should use the phrase "Radical Islam" and meanwhile we've got actual radicalized Muslims extremists taking advantage of the chaos caused by drought and crop failures.

Conservatives want Americans dying in Afghanistan because we "have to fight them over there so they won't attack us here." At the same time, they are willing concede the Northern Third of Africa and South Western Asia to Islamists all because they want to drive a muscle car.

Of course the instability that has happened and will happen in the MENA region is just a preview of what will be happening in every Country, in the face of unchecked climate change.
