Systematic racism doesn't exist...looks at timeline, slavery for 265 years, Reconstruction/segregation/Jim crow/ for 99 including separate but equal. Makes it 53 years since 1964...not even 2 full generations. I too would like to know when it ended.

364 years of legalized discrimination...and people think all of that history and everything done can/has been fixed in 53 years.

One of the most important things to understand about conservatives is that they cannot imagine equality. For conservatives group A subjugates group B or the opposite is true.

That is why they believe that unless Christianity is supreme in the United States, Sharia Law will be imposed on Christians. If Whites cannot plunder blacks then blacks will plunder whites. If our armed forces do not invade and occupy Middle Eastern Countries then it will Taliban and ISIS occupying American cities. If men do not treat women like servants than women will surely do the same.

So keep that in mind when you wonder why conservatives are so opposed to acceptance, equality or even mere tolerance. For conservatives, there can only be those who subjugate and those who themselves are subjugated.

given today's downturn in the stock market, i was thinking that some billionaires and corporations could easily coordinate a collapse of the stock market, at least a short-term one. it could coincide with the midterm elections. i wouldn't put it past people like Koch to do it.

Gregg Phillips, whose unsubstantiated claim that the election was marred by 3 million illegal votes was tweeted by the president, was listed on the rolls in Alabama, Texas and Mississippi, according to voting records and election officials in those states. He voted only in Alabama in November, records show.

In a post earlier this month, Phillips described "an amazing effort" by volunteers tied to True the Vote, an organization whose board he sits on, who he said found "thousands of duplicate records and registrations of dead people."
