To be fair, a few of them started from before he won the election. Many of them ended up going against what they claimed to stand for and kissing the ring after seeing him win. American politics is like a Tv show. Wouldn't be surprised if this came out to be an Amazon series in my life time.

I don't about trying to Tame him. He's always demonstrated himself as being uncontrollable. I think they just wanted to get on his right side. Guiliani spilling the beans about the getting muslim banned "legally" because he thought he was gonna get some top position and he ended up getting squat.

Thing is Americans have no idea what it takes to get a visa or green card to come here, especially after 9/11. After scrounging up the money, the fingerprints, pictures, all day lines, vaccines, interviews with federal law enforcement officers for months/years etc. It's not like getting a driver's license or passport here.

I'm going to have to point and laugh at this one too.
People have to learn their lesson.
We told them over and over that trump is who we think he is. They didn't listen. They were more worried about Hillary's emails.
For these immigrants, I think they come from such poorly-run countries that they can never imagine America being that bad. They assume that the persecution and religious tensions they were escaping are not going to exist here.
And this is why I'm going to point and laugh at the people who went through that process and then still voted for trump.

Im from the bahamas and i went to boarding school and college in the US (so I've had multiple study and travel visas to the US).. when i did my recent travel visa renewal, they requested information from 15-20 years ago.. specific dates
Then you have an interview after submitting the very extensive form plus the requested info
I could only imagine what other countries gotta go through
Hell, i got friends who avoid the headache that goes into actually getting their travel visa just because of what is asked.. since we have the ability to travel on a police report, but you could get screwed in some situations going that route
