BTW: The GDP growth rate is calculated quarterly, it is not the only measure of economic health (it is a big one of course), there are tons, and need to be looked at in a package.

U-6 unemployment is still over 9%, I need an explanation of why this has not been fixed.

trump only had one month of job creation to his name which surpassed all expectation.

wait a couple of months, u see those optimistic numbers right? exactly... 8)

-Umm that is not how it works by your logic.

One you said if it happens under a presidency it his their fault. So Trump can't get credit for the job growth numbers without owning the U-6 now.

sloooooow your role & shut your mouth, when did i say Trump didn't own da U6 number? all i said is he only had ONE MONTH to gauge. wait a couple of months and let him actually develop a track record

So how low is he going to get the U-6?

its been one month, calm da **** down and wait for it get better or worst

Smh, interesting, so when exactly can I start judging Trump's economy?

why are u asking me **** you already know?they usually score da Country's economic health quarterly.
u know this, so stop playing coy & wait for Trump to actually cook.

Ok, beginning of May.

I will be on the look out for the sub 8% U-6, and over 4% GDP growth. Otherwise the economy sucks, per Trump's and your previous slander of Obama.

Thanks b, you may go in peace.

umm you need a least 2 quarters to compare and contrast, that's standard protocol...why are u playing slow all of sudden mister economist?

u know all this stuff, and Congress hasn't even passed a budget yet for da fiscal year, you speedy Gonzales all of a sudden  :smh:

I can compare an contrast to the Obama quarters that feel under Obama. It is the economy b, if Trump is really that much better it should show a dramatic improvement. I mean, he did promise it.

And if you wanted me to wait until October, just say so.

And again, this is an interest change of attitude from you, that the budget now matters this much to the economy. When I was trying to tell you this about Obama not getting the spending he wanted affecting GDP growth, you weren't having it.

Hmmm, kinda weird you are changing you tune on Da Fiscal Policy now your mans in office.

If I were a savvy Trump supporter, I'd say that "Trump's policies will bring about more substantial growth rates which will cause U-6 to shrink and cause wages to rise; however, the Fed will be attempting to sabotage a serious Trump recovery in the labor market."

You've gonna be the one explaining basic monetary policy to that man, not me

I'm not about to be talking about "da full employment" in 2018.

Like Shades said in Luke cage, "the best lies run parallel to the truth."

The Fed is plutocratic. the Fed does raise rates too quickly. The two percent "target" (which is more of a hard ceiling) does favor rentiers over wage growth.

If I were the evil but relentlessly competent Steve Bannon I'd have a Press release like this "The Clinton-Bush-Obama Cartel had the Wall Street controlled Federal reserve at their command. Now, with the assent of Donald Trump, the people's president, Obama appointees, many of whom were Obama donors, are manipulating financial markets in order to further hold back hard working, law abiding families in order to fund global banks and the wasteful, urban welfare State."

Some truth, some strong dog whistles and the ability to deflect any and all bad news, that is some grade-A bull crap right there. (and bull crap ain't a swear so no need to put money in the swear jar).

I'm saying, you call ninja an idiot, moron or whatever and yet you constantly engage him. CONSTANTLY. Either that makes you an even bigger idiot or you think he makes valid points that are worth consideration. One or the other

You contribute little to this thread regarding discussions, you sit back and read it for your enjoyment. Which is fine. But always complain when you don't like the content.

Tough, I don't care about your option regarding my back and forth with dude, I'm not here to be your political analyst or relay news to you.

He makes stupid post and I try to counter them with valid arguments. Like now, you could add to the discussion about when is the right time to judge a president's economic record, what are the best economic indicators, what tangible ways can the economy improve or any other offshoot.

But you won't, you will just complain you don't like what other people are doing.

If you don't the discussion in here to be different, carry some of the weight for once.

Bannon would never run with that talking point, not enough casual antisemitism. At least throw some brackets around Fed.

Dear white progressives, stop bringing Ralph Nader around.

If you want to make minorities wary of white supremacy being able to coexist happily with social democracy, Nader will do exactly that

I'm 33 now as well and was a freshman in college on 9/11 at 18 years old. September is the Fall means my dude was probably STARTING sophomore year of HS. Jesus, at that point just let me rock my GED.

 I think Bannon echos every noun in every sentence he types. Beware the (((Fed))) and its ability to manipulate the (((Economy))) and also be weary of (((flouride))) in the (((water))) and (((chemtrails))) in the (((sky))).

I honestly don't know much about Ralph Nader, what white supremacists things has he been saying and doing?
