my commercial showed the softball game where penny wore the high heels and said new eps sunday and tuesday??????

They're airing two episodes a week for the rest of the season.

And the softball episode never aired in the US, so they must be throwing it in with the episodes now.

The new episode is showing as the Kickball episode for me. Great episode for those that haven't scene it.

Yeah, unfortunately some have already seen this episode but it's still one of my favorites.

Penny crawling after she got hit with the kickball from Dave looking like she's near death always gets me.

New episode tonight and ABC will stop airing episodes on Sunday. It turns out adding another episode on Sunday without any promotion doesn't help underperforming comedies in the ratings.

ABC need to get their **** together.

Loved the kickball episode when I saw it earlier... wasn't crazy about last night's.

This show succeeds in large part because these characters genuinely appear to be fun to hang out with, so it's cool to watch a 22 minute episode where there won't be any real story advancement other than "Jane is now a car salesman" kind of thing. But that element is lost when you see them just being obnoxious. Brad's jealous antics got old quickly and wasn't all that funny. Alex, Dave, and Max investigating had it's moments and with another story it would have been better. Penny not realizing that her friends were the weird and mean ones and her boyfriend's friends were normal didn't really land either. It just came across as Penny being unnecessarily mean and even once she realized, it felt more uncomfortable than funny.

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood to watch it, and it still had plenty of great moments like Alex saying "we should call CTU" and since they were looking for Chase (who was the name of one of her boyfriends), that made me laugh a lot.

 @ the riffing on 24 and GelnGarry Glenn Ross with the mention of CTU and always be closing when they were making up ways to find Chase.

Penny made herself look like such a lame loser. Surprised she didn't get dumped.

I was dying @ Jane and brad making each other jealous. "Sex crime"

Some news...

No Happy Endings tonight and next week there's going to be two new episodes instead of a new Don't Trust the B

Then two weeks after that it's going to be preempted for the Bachelor and then State of the Union

Then  a month after that is when Dancing with the Stars returns which means no more Happy Endings or Don't Trust the B for the rest of the season

Warming Glow  suspects they're going to double up on Happy Endings those last 5 weeks and that will finish out the season with their remaining 10 episodes.

In the end, this might actually be good news. Assuming the ratings at least hold and don't get any worse, and unless ABC has a ton of new sitcom pilots, Happy Endings should be renewed for another season. Another full season should put it close to 80 episodes which could be good news for syndication and if that happens then it could definitely get another from ABC or move on to FX or TBS or Comedy Central. FX is particularly interesting because they're going to split into two networks, one for comedy and one for drama.
