Can so explain the purpose of presale tickets?

Never did it and I'm assuming anyone buying presale tickets would see the move regardless so what's the point?

Are they more expensive?

I assume most people are wanting to lock in a specific time during the first day/weekend and not have to wait in lines or worry about going to the theater and having that showtime be sold out. IMAX and theaters that do assigned seating are also an issue. I'd bet you'd like to make sure you and your girl have seats together. Ep7 was tough to get into for the entire first week. It's more about trying to plan ahead than anything. To answer the question about price, no, if you buy at the theater they're the same price. If you buy online, it's the standard $1 or so in service charges.

Peace,
J

I've always echoed that I like Jedi better than Empire....
Jedi was my favorite when I was a kid... still have a soft spot for it in my heart. It has some weak moments, but it also has some great moments. I'd say it's my third favorite, now, after ESB and ANH.

Not surprised but I've heard the rumors about that get louder and louder. The real question is what is his face gonna look like? That'll be a big part of him coming back looking for another fight with Rey and she's in big trouble. Doesn't she know that a Skywalker has to lose a hand in every second film of the trilogy :nerd:

Kylo has the same blood of his cousin in him so maybe he loses a hand too :nerd:

But one of those two have to utter the famous line, "I am a Jedi, like my father before me"....it can't be Kylo :nerd:

While I think his design was already perfect and was an instant classic, I'm not against any small changes that will make sense. At the end of the day, it's all for new toys anyway :rolleyes

Same here.. as a kid I loved Jedi, then I realized the weaker points and saw the brilliance of ESB.
Me as well.  I guess I liked Jedi as a kid cuz of the cool Speeder Bikes, that fighter chase into the Death Star and Luke as a Jedi Master.  But as you grow up, you watch these films with a different perspective... and that's when you begin to appreciate how amazing ESB is.

I enjoyed this little Smugglers Box trailer way more than I should have. Hyped AF for Rogue One.
