I have accounts on all 3.
I don't mean to be shallow but I gave up on OKC like 2 months ago, when **** tanked with like the ONLY person I liked on there, but I still occasionally get messages from users or emails from the site saying "you've been rated 5 stars by Girl You're Totally Not Attracted To!"
If I get a message on OKC, even if I'm not into them, I try to message back as a courtesy. Ignoring messages is a **** move to me and I could always use a new friend. There's potential to get to know a lot of people who share your interests if you fill out your profile enough.
I never use POF but I still get the Meet You emails, and Tinder I go on a few times a day or so and do some swiping. I've had Tinder for maybe three weeks, not a single message aside from some chick who was doing one of those stupid pyramid scheme "businesses".
I'm not even super nitpicky like you claim yourself to be. I'm just plain out not attracted to a lot of the choices offered on the sites, besides maybe Tinder. Tinder in itself is kind of a judgmental, shallow app, but it IS the most honest. Appearances are everything when it comes to first contact, especially online. You might get to know somebody you weren't really attracted to in real life and develop feelings for them, but online nah.
When I told my friend that I made an OKC account, he flat out told me "hot girls don't use that ****" and I kind of brushed him off because it was sort of a mean thing for him to say about the girls on OKC, but he was right
