JORDAN BRAND signs BLAKE GRIFFIN!

BREAKING NEWS:

 

Jordan Brand continued to stay busy this year and added another talented superstar to it's roster by signing Blake Griffin. Blake Griffin was one of the top "shoe free agents" this past summer and was rumored for awhile to join Under Armour. Those rumors were put to rest when it was announced that he would be staying with Nike.

 

This is the 2nd major signing of Jordan Brand since the departure of Dwyane Wade. A few weeks ago, JB also announced the signing of high flying point guard, Russell Westbrook. The off season signings also include rookies, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kendall Marshall, Jared Sullinger and Jeff Taylor.

naw, his shoes will be ugly.

thing is CP3's shoes arent that bad looking IMO. i dont own any and wouldnt unless i could find a pair for $40 or cheaper.

It's an interesting signing. Hopefully, with Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook, the Brand can establish a more dominant reputation with their performance line. The Brand will always have retros and the annual "game shoe" to fall back on, but in order for these guys to succeed with the brand, they need to put the other team and/or sig shoes on the map.

Dunno if he'll get a signature, don't think westbrook is gettin one and the signatures that Jb comes out with aren't that good

What's that old saying?? Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. I think JB will finally produce a decent signature shoe out of one of these guys (Westbrook, Griffin)

hope to see a nice signature shoe, so far the CP3 IV & V are the only team JB shoes that have caught my eye

Lettuce be cereal, Russel Westbrooke is a good player and all, but his decisions on the court simply make mean.gif sometimes. Chris Paul, however, is not a bum. And did dude not see Carmelo take over when Amare and Jeremy Lin were out in the Playoffs???
