Nike air Barrage (Marshal Faulk sig shoe) wearable?

I want this shoe very badly but if they crumble i will not waste my time and i have never heard anything on this shoe crumbling which hopefully is a good thing. Can someone please let me know if they have any experience with this shoe being wearable or not? Also if this is in the wrong section mods please move this and i appologize if thats the case. Thanks for the help in advance!

I'm pretty sure the Barrage is getting retroed in the late summer.  Not sure if this helps or not.

EDIT:  Sorry man, it was the Air Slant that's getting retroed.

Yeah they are wearable the most that will happen is the midsole will separate from the upper because of the old glue but that's easy to fix.

yeah i can fix seperation, ive done my XIs multiple times, but crumbling sucks like my Ndestrukts still sitting in my closet. I shed a tear every time i see them lol

Yeah I feel your pain. So many vintage kicks that crumbled on me. I have 10pairs of barrages and no signs of the midsole crumbling.

I really need to start visiting other threads when I log on, there's just way too much to keep up with lol.  That post made me regret not paying more attention to the pair of Faulks that popped up in my size.

Geez!! Amazed when I actually saw that pic. How do you keep all of em to be wearable? I had like 7-8 pairs of OG RAIDs and all had been crumbled during the past few years and so does my Shake Ndestrukts....

I think it's just the different materials of the midsole I guess like how og xi's don't crumble I wonder if barrages have that same material.

sorry to grave dig but i finally got a pair of the black/whites, is the upper suede or nubuk or something else? i need to redye them and want to make sure i get the right material dye
