Calvin Johnson's Megatron Inspired CJ81 Collection: Release Info

^ I can agree on the beasts coming out for these.

What I can't even come remotely close to agreeing on is revis over Calvin...

And we used to get roasted by sanders every year.

That's like comparing sanders to dexter Jackson.

Calvin Johnson career to this point and the future > revis to this point and future.
 
Back from the scavenger hunt. Unfortunately, I didn't win. Google Maps put me off by an entire half hour because it gave me Mexico coordinates. If I didn't search the mentions for Nike NYC I would have never found it. Following that I downloaded a coordinates app (wish I did that last night) and got to the rest of the locations within a half hour. The pack is worth the $550 or whatever retail is. Too bad the first four will be on eBay. This collaboration is bringing out people who wouldn't give this line a second look. Sleep if you want to. The attention to detail is on point and all of the shoes look great. I should have taken a picture but I wasn't thinking at the time. Was given the option of the toy or shirt as a consolation prize and chose the toy. The shirt is weak. It's black with Megatron in purple and red letters.
 
Sorry rell826 rell826 that sucks. I think in a couple of years the toy would be worth a lot to some hard transformers collectors. I watch the toy hunter on travel channel and the amount some limited stuff go for is crazy.
 
Thanks. Wasn't upset. Just had really bad luck. Set myself up at a transportation hub so that I could hop on whatever train that was closest to the first stop (30th and 6th), but Maps was terrible. Will not use that app again. Crazy thing is that every train I had to take was coming into the station or at the station when I got there. They were just faster.

There's a size 10.5 Trainer Max for $130 on ebay. Seller: atljerseys Item #281211384026

Regular orange box, no toy. The special packaging has the toy correct? Also has 2nd set of purple laces.

They are sitting right beside the ppl waiting for the CJs to drop in price...
I'm just happy to see a Football player getting some love from Nike with a solid shoe, no matter what position he plays or who he might be
 
This is looking to be a SIMPLE pickup for me. I just stopped by my local Champs to look at the CJ81 trainer max in the black in gold colorway to get a better feel for the shoe & decided to ask one of the guys who worked there if they would be getting the Megatron CJ81 just to make convo (this store gets NO limited releases) and to my shock he said they have them & will be releasing them on Tuesday he also said that they're waiting on the shipment of the Transformer Figure that comes with the shoe also! So I'm golden with this release!
 
Wish I was close to a Nike Yardline. With all of the gift cards I have access to, I could have made out like a bandit with the Megatron pack.
 
Whatever it takes.

Growing up I was obsessed with the Transformers and Calvin plays for my favorite team.

The trainer max is a must have for me.

It won't be that hard getting the shoe. The pack is a different story.

Y'all getting geeked up over an action figure that will collect dust. Remind me of Jingle All The Way.

Still on the fence with this shoe especially with the Dee Brown pumps releasing again,but I'd donate it to the Christmas toy drives.
 
Wentbto my local champs today to peep the Megatrons and they are fire. They said they release Tuesday. Colors are nice and comes with two pairs of laces(red and purple). Only thing is that the sole is clear, but pre yellowed. It looks like a sole of a shoe that was released a few years ago. I dont mind tho. Still copping. And they did confirm the toy, but it was not at the store yet.

-the real loser here is Roy Williams, he gave Calvin Johnson this nick name and he gets nothing from and is out of the NFL all together...
