Calvin Johnson's Megatron Inspired CJ81 Collection: Release Info

Went to my Champs today and discovered that there are two t-shirts releasing. One is the black tee with purple and red block lettering that Rell described a few pages back (agreed, that shirt is underwhelming). The other is grey with the purple Megatron face mask. 

Don't think that info had been posted yet.

That sort of makes sense why the guys at the Yardline in Cherry Hill don't think they're getting the pack yet, they probably just haven't received their shipment yet. I wonder how many packs will be available there and how they'll handle the release :nerd:. I'm just happy it's only a 15 minute drive from me :lol:. I expected the Yardline that would have the box set was the one in Wayne, NJ. The one in Cherry Hill just opened a few months ago while the one in Wayne has been their flagship store for awhile.

Ehh I don't want to go into panic mode but I'm prob gna pull the trigger on eBay. Don't want to wait and miss out on both pairs. Called my usual spots and they're not carrying them.
 
I want the lace lock and toy. I have to see how the purple looks like. I might not get the SC II especially not retail. I'm thinking they might sit since they don't come with the toy, lace lock, and extra laces for $130, they might get overlooked. What to do what to do....
 
I asked Champs on Twitter when Cherry Hill will be releasing the pack. They told me 11/26 and to contact the store directly regarding release procedure. For some reason I think they're talking about the individual shoes and not the pack or box set or whatever it's called. I might take a ride there tomorrow and ask what the deal is. Hopefully they have more info in-store.

that shiny midsole reminds me of the bc3.. do you guys think it'll have the same chipping problems? that's really the only thing holding me back. I wish these came with the toy instead of the cj81 trainer max 
 
i like how nike is selling the individuals first then the pack. allows the people to who want individual shoes to not worry about people who are only buying because they failed with the pack.
 
815 and nothing on Nikestore despite the tweet. Could have slept an extra hour before I had to get up.
 
My local champs is getting the single sneakers in the pack and the action figures are for the CJ trainer purchase only. Getting mine tuesday.

Anyone with pics of the apparel?
 
Niketown NY has no idea when they are getting the apparel. Should be sometime next week they say.

There's miscommunication from corporate to the Champs stores because the one I went to said that they were supposed to release today according to the docket but didn't find out until literally an hour ago that it's Tuesday.
 
Probably, probably not. Can't really tell this early. After next week, we'll see what they really go for. eBay will be flooded with the toys.
