Does it look bad to use a coupon for a first date?

No man not the best impression to pop out with a coupon especially on the first date. Last thing you want her thinking is that your cheap which you probably are

I think it is a great idea.
If she is shallow and has any issues with it, at least you didn't actually pay for her meal. If she is cool with it you guys can laugh it off, and that could be used as a positive springboard to the rest of the night

Good post. I don't think it's a bad idea at all.

That's what coupons are for.

Depends on how serious you are about her.
1st impressions can completely change the direction the relationship takes. Same as a job.
How about you save that coupon and if the first date works out you can use it once you're
more comfortable with each other?

wood not go to red lobster for a date lmao

wood not want a chick who wants to go to red lobster for a date either

but do you

if its just to smash who cares

It depends on the context. How long have you two been talking? It's not that bad, I mean, it's only Red Lobster man. It should be cool though. Keep us updated man.

Man some of yaw are sorry and have no game or self respect. Who cares what the girl think sof you.

I think its a great ideal to use a coupon, it will let her know that you know how to save money, if she have a problem with it and looks at you as being cheap then thats a girl you dont want anyway. Tell her to pay for the meal if she dont like it. Men always use free tickets to concerts dinners etc to take girls out

You can easily use it without her knowing about it. Just walk the check up to the cashiers stand instead of leaving it on the table.

There you go - although often you have to say you have the voucher when you arrive and that might be more difficult.

I agree with the others though - if she throws a fit then she's obviously just a gold digger. At least you'd know and you could ditch her.

unless she's got an enormous rack.

If you have to ask this, you should just decline the date...

Unless you can slide it in on the cool without her noticing then I wouldn't do it.... Ex: Using free movie passes to get the tickets ahead of time.... or other variations....

wow. i'd be so turned off if a man took me to (or even suggested) red lobster, but that's mainly because i'm a "foodie". i'm sure there are much better (affordable) seafood options around, but if not...do what you gotta do. Pulling out a coupon to Red Lobster will not get her wet tho, I promise you.

Red Lobster is a worse look than using a coupon unless ol girl feelin the place like that

It's not that its bad but IMO i'd rather go support a local seafood place and not a chain like that. Food will be better, etc..

But I see you tho man, Ballin on budget to get those yambs is the way to go :pimp:

This right here, she wouldn't have any problem going to that John Legend concert even though you got the tickets for free. :nerd:
