how would the code end for tires made after 2010

i would think 11, 12 etc...no way it would mean 1911 lol. a tire that old, you could prolly rip the tire apart with your hands

word me too. i have witnessed a tire blow out before (was in a car 50-100ft behind) but it was only on a semi. with that said, mythbusters' test show that rubber flung from a blown tire can actually murk you thru the windshield...tires are no joke.

Driving on 95 everyday to and from work one sees this quite often. Just a couple months ago a semi blew out its tire on 95N right in front of my girl's car. She drives a Land Rover and the tire wrecked her front bumper/fender. She was lucky it didn't shoot through the window and do some damage.

The smoke alone makes it impossible to drive through and it sounds like a Mossberg just went off.

Good info, definitely appreciated.

Going to check the fam's cars when I get home from work.

Just checked mine. Set of tires I bought about a year ago the oldest is from the 6th week of 2010 youngest 14th week of 2011. Gonna go and check my Mom's out today too.

glad to hear it. def could have been worse, semi's are no joke, if it ain't the tire, its the driver who will clap your car's shoulders...and yours i guess as well. i always keep my distance around those things...especially the ones carrying logs or w.e. final destination changed my life

going to check my parents' cars after work..

Great video OP. I'm gonna check my tires when I get home.

I drive on the highway 5 days a week and frequently see the remains of tires blown out.
