yo its crazy but after seeing the gumbo KD and Bron sell out I decided not to sleep on the gumbo 8 I wanted to make

sucks I really wanted to make a galaxy/gumbo KD but went to do it today and the option is sold out

maino those are dope man
 
Finally got my Kobe 8 SS iD's after about a month and a half... I decided to go with another cliche platinum Yeezy-themed variation using the SS and GITD-sole options.  While I know some are over the yeezy-themed iD's, I happen to like to color combinations.  Either way,  I have included a few pics in various lighting and flash settings for those that are interested.

Just wondering, why pay $15 more for the same shoe you can do without the gumbo option?

I ordered the same shoe with no gumbo option for $180.I hate the liner.

I hate the liner too, but I can live with it, return them or maybe a customs guy can do it red for me

I ordered my nike id on 1-17 and they said 3/3.

No emails or anything about it since tho.I def want a 15 or 20% if they hit me with that delay email.

My ids that I want dont need the gumbo options but the mags or all blues.

I ordered another ID on 1-23 I think and still haven't gotten an email except that they started and delivery was like 3-2, guess that ain't happening

I want a %20 percent off, i'll make another ID

I ordered my first iD with the XDR sole and in my opinion there is no difference between the iD XDR and the regular outsoles in terms of pattern/thickness/feel etc.  Side by side with another pair of my 8s with a regular outsole, they seem exactly the same.  You can check my profile for some pictures if you want

Bottom line -- iD xdr not worth it IMO.  The GC (Greater China) release pairs on the other hand have a noticeably thicker outsole without peaked ridges on the herringbone.  I think those would definitely hold up longer
 
I'm about to order 3 pairs of gumbos in about a week and a half
I pray they don't sell out the gumbo before then....I probably won't get them till the end of may .... That's because I'm already waiting on 3 other pairs ... Nike needs to get on the ball
 
so has there been any more clarity on whether or not when the gumbos come down, if the kobe 8s as a whole will come down or not as well?
