Well that's Texas, not Florida so I don't know how much difference that makes, but he wasn't standing his own ground either. Now if those guys were breaking into his house and he shot them, that's standing your ground. He was told 14 times not to go outside and he did anyway,

All this proves was that he couldn't handle the *** whooping so he shot him.

If he gets off, it means I can follow someone around, instigate a fight, my *** kicked and then shoot someone. Really?

However since they chose not to get him for manslaughter I had a strong feeling he will get off in that state.

Self defense was needed because you decide to bother someone taking a walk at night... If I'm Trayvon I'd be shook too.. Gotta have that "ima get him for he get me" mentality... Can't blame anyone in that situation for swinging first

First Trayvon was not looking though windows. Where did you come up with that?

Second, if there was someone rocking a hoody around my neighborhood and looking mad suspicious I would call the cops and let them deal with him. You don't go out to confront dude, get your butt whooped, resort to a gun, then claim self defense.

Doesn't change that Zimmerman shouldn't have been pursuing dude after cops told em not to. Whether or not Trayvon was a hood dude that beat the brakes off of dude is beyond the fact. It was wrong of Zimmerman to follow the kid after he was told not to. Anything that happens after Zimmerman pursues him is irrelevant.

I agree that there have been alot of incidents in 2012 where gun control was obviously a goal, but the Trayvon thing is not one of them . . . if ya wanted to make a case for gun control, ya should have just brought up the many incidents we've had this year, instead of trying to paint Zimmerman as an innocent scapegoat for a higher agenda . . . dude was a power tripping bigot.

That may be true, but the "Administration" has and will exploit this for taking away our second amendment. Why do you think this story got so much press? Then a Batman shooting? Then a Muhammad "trailer"? A Benghazi attack? Then a storm? Then a staged election? C'mon Meek

how did Zimmerman start the fight? he probably yelled out and asked him what he was doing. lets not assume.

this dude does not look like that hard type go to up to someone and start something with fists instead of words. Trayvon attacked him, they fought, Zimmerman was down on the ground getting his but whooped so he pulled out his gun and shot the kid.

any of you would have done the same in this situation, if you say differently,,,,

No we would not, we wouldnt have followed him, we would have stayed in our houses and called the cops.



And I rather have a broken nose from losing a fight than go to day for 25yrs for murdering a kid.

he didnt murder him though, self defense.

if i have a gun and im getting beat down and if the kid isnt stopped i could be dead... i would shoot him.
 
i straight up hate some of y all.

A kid minding his own business, going to a store, ends up dead because some piece of **** didn't trust a black person going to a deli after certain hours.

I hope zimmermans entire family is harassed into situations just like this, minding their business, hopefully provoked into altercation and end up dead just like he killed trayvon, i hope the same for yall familys too, then maybe you'd understand. i still can't believe people attempt to defend this nonsense.
