 eastbay has been showing that they had a pair in size 11 since last week. if you click on it, it says item is out of stock.

finally decided to undeadstock these since the weather became nicer. Sneakershields prevented bumps and lumps and stuff it works great. But once I wore these, then tongue already got ruined =\

This shoe is also my favorite so I feel you. I'm trying to find another pair for a good price myself.
 
Wearing mine today...the fact i smell the glue while walking in them is funny to me...feels comfortable on feet to me

Wore them with my tapered levis and I folded the bottom and they looked real sick, but I guess pressure when stepping made the tongue fold a bit and then it collided with the top lacehoop creating another fold. it easily gets messed up especially with delicate tumbled leather like these. other jordans 3's like the black cements are fine since its more sturdy and what not.

i mean, it's inbetween the quality of the '03 & the '11 - not bad is how i'd characterize it
the white strip that wraps around the side above the midsole always used to be butter on older 3's, smooth but softer than the tumbled upper

on these 88s - that strip of leather is crappy just like the '11 & every other 3 retro I've had since '07
also the leather upper on the 88s still has a slight plasticy feel to it - i can't describe it any other way

but even though the tongue should be smooth not tumbled - these do have da softest tongue of any 3 retro I've even had, including da '94s

I've now worn mine about 15 times, and
The leather breaks in, and is soft, even that strip above the midsole, give it a little bit, let them break in, I'm telling you, you'll be very happy. It's got me out actively trying to trade my DS Concords for another pair
