Please lock this one up mods

I don't want to count us out against Denver just yet. I'm curious to see the spread next week. Without Clady, Philly can get outside pressure from Cole and Barwin. Curry and Cox looked threatening on the inside. Our defense overall looked better. Fletcher, Cary, and Boykin need to play well. Our safety play is still a liability.

Eagles will require a hot offense with big plays down the field from D-Jax and Shady. Mistake free football from MV7. You never know.

ahh i see. just something i noticed that i wanted to ask yall about since yall watch more closely than i do

Its still the same thing that plagued us last year turnovers and bust in coverage, and once again Alex Henry misses a makeable field goal in close game.

when you look at the last two games the defense is on the field so long MAINLY because they can't stop anyone and last night cuz of the turnovers, not simply because the offense is blazingly fast IMO. Overall I think they should alternate with the speed but it's hard to do it when you're playing from behind knowing your defense can't stop anyone and you NEED to score 30 a night

And this.. Look at the long 3rd downs they were picking up last night..

They picked up 3rd and 10 from the 5 in the 4th.. 3rd and 19.. And 3rd and 15

And the chargers were 10 for 15 on 3rd down

Those 3rd down conversions are HEARTBREAKING  :smh: I was almost certain we would hold them then I'd see a 7 yd pass then I'm like ok cool, then the missed tackles!! >: >:

I'm upset we let Donnie Avery get loose.
We obviously have a problem covering short, quick wide receivers which is odd since you would think our D would have practice against arguably the best short, quick wide receiver in DJax.

What am I saying? We have a hard time covering receivers in general. I don't understand our infatuation with playing off-coverage; all three weeks we've been beaten by short throws and, since we can't tackle, the WR runs loose for a big chunk of yardage. I thought the point of getting Cary and Bradley was so we can play bump-and-run? We need to start doing that more often since our D-line can't get any pressure.

Peyton is gonna tear our defense to pieces. :smh: :x
I'm genuinely expecting a perfect passer rating from him.

Our only hope is to bring lots of pressure and make Peyton uncomfortable in the pocket. It's possible with Clady out. We'll see Moreno's pass pro.

Manning is this teams worst nightmare

He gets the ball out fast as hell when pressure is coming; I predict a lot of deep passes resulting in a rough game for the defense

I think Wolff needs to start; he's prob our best Safety

Wolff played well last night. Chased down Avery. Had one other memorable play I don't recall at the moment.

i'll just leave this here...

“@RoobCSN: Eagles' 1,385 total yards of offense are the 8th-most in NFL history after three games.”

“@RoobCSN: Eagles have allowed 15th-most passing yards in NFL history through 3 games facing QBs ranked 21st, 22nd & 34th in pass yards/game in 2012.”

“@RoobCSN: Eagles have allowed 969 passing yards, 16th-most in NFL history after three games. And 451 more than last year.”

“@RoobCSN: LeSean's 514 yards from scrimmage are 11th-most in NFL history after 3 games and most since Marshall Faulk had 530 in 2000. #EaglesTalk”

“@RoobCSN: Vick’s 43.3 percent completion % is the worst by an Eagles QB since Mike McMahon completed 36.4% of his passes in a loss at Arizona in 2005.”

^^ Some nice numbers our Offense if putting up for the most part :nthat: but chip's offense isn't changing anything :rolleyes...that defense though :x :x :x :smh:

Guess what fellas, we hold the final wildcard spot as of now with how bad the last 2 weeks have been

We still have 5 games in our division, hoping we can go 4-2 total after all six games, AND we still play the Raiders, Buccaneers, Vikings, Lions and Cardinals.....I still feel we can eek out 8-9 wins here. Hoping we don't get embarrased by Peyton though, one silver lining is we only have lost to AFC opposition so far

if the broncos asked for jason peters, what would everyone be happy with in a trade?

and  if the falcons came calling for brandon graham, what would everyone be happy with?

Exactly. It might get ugly next Sunday too, but at least it will just be another non conference loss. I do expect at least 4TD passes from Manning though. Glad I got him and Lesean on my fantasy team :smokin

^^ your squad is gonna EAT this week. Shady is good for like 120+ yds a game in this offense he's gotta be the top RB in the league still. And my gawd Peyton might annihilate us, I'm gonna be nervous hearing htose audibles knowing whats coming :x :smh: I think it'll be a high scoring affair.

As for trading Peters? Nah we need that left tackle bc even worst case we end up with a top draft pick qb. they're probably gonna be a righty so the blind side would get them mauled if we didn't have JP, he's probably still getting up to speed from the achilles injuries but when he is right he's easily top 3-5 in the NFL.

Brandon Graham I may entertain bc I think he doesn't fit with the 3-4, sucks too bc dude is a beast on the bull rush....Vinny Curry emerging could make him expendable, I'd want good value for him though like borderline ripping the other team off  So I dunno a second and a future 3rd? I doubt we get a first rounder.

I'm just so numb watching this game but it's really what we all expected. At least the Broncos are delivering, if your a fan of them :rolleyes

Guys we're a draft or 2 more (more likely 2) away from anything..

Luckily most of the guys that are good or also young.. Hence why I think we need to get our QB of the future in the next draft

This is so hard to watch

Manziel, Boyd, Braxton, MM...who will our pick be?

Either mm or hundley.. Don't think the other 3 will be that good in the league.. Well they can be good, but I wouldn't want any of those 3 in the 1st
