^^nope, raiders have to many holes to fill and revis contract ain't gonna help easy the raider salary cap problem

Apparently we've contacted the Jets about Revis...I wouldn't be surprised if Denver somehow lands him.

I was thinking about us when I heard about it. Assuming Reggie has a plan laid out for fixing the cap (which I'm guessing he has, since it sounds like he contacted the Jets), I'd be happy with acquiring Revis.

Apparently Incarcerated Bob is the only person that may of reported the rumor so don't hold on to it to tight

I don't know how I feel about Revis, dude's had trouble with management multiple times/injury issues lately/final year of contract. Not sure what exactly we'd give up for him either, I know Reggie loves having his draft picks. I figure the deal would be combo of McClain+Palmer/Pryor+fillers.

Would draft honey badger for his abilities in the return game, DB not so much at the NFL level.

If we're talking about him playing special teams exclusively then I'd rather not draft him. I do understand the concern about him as a corner in the NFL, though.

6th round at best right? No way were his problems only weed. I doubt Ford will ever be the same so go get him with the last pick.

Yeah, 6th/7th. Definitely not in the supplemental draft either, if he were to fall out of the draft completely.

Raiders  stadium: A million dollars will be spent to study the idea of building a new home for the Oakland Raiders, with taxpayers picking up most of the tab.

Under a deal approved Friday by the Oakland-Alameda County Joint Powers Authority, which operates the Oakland Coliseum complex, two studies will be done at $500,000 each. One will assess possible sites around the Coliseum - with the Raiders agreeing to pay as much as a third of the cost of this one - and the other will look at whether the economics of a new stadium pencil out.

Oakland and Alameda County are still paying about $20 million a year for the Coliseum expansion that lured the Raiders back from Los Angeles in 1995.

Word is the Raiders are interested in staying in the East Bay, but they want a new stadium. The NFL wants a new stadium as well. There's one going up in Santa Clara, of course, but predictions that the Raiders might want to share it with the 49ers have turned out to be about as accurate as a JaMarcus Russell  pass.

The new studies come on top of $3 million in redevelopment money that Oakland has agreed to spend studying the idea of a mega-complex at the Coliseum site that would include a new stadium, housing, retail and possible tech research facilities.

"The ultimate goal of the study is to see if it makes sense," said Oakland City Councilman Larry Reid, vice chairman of the Joint Powers Authority.

^I don't know...I mean if they tore down both Oracle and O.Co....they could really make the place pretty nice. Would anyone be opposed a move to that Dublin site?

Rather see them in LA, but if the Coliseum is going to be completely redeveloped then that's not bad.

I wouldn't mind the move to the Dublin site. I just want them to stay the Oakland Raiders. Ideally, I'd want them to stay in the same location. I can get there in ten minutes driving, or just one Bart stop.
