Hadn't done enough research into our new Puma dealbecause I'm not a fan of the brand (this being NIKEtalk and all) , but thanks for clearing that up...

I'm pretty sure WE ALL KNOW that's a PS... In fact most LEGIT kit "action shots"/Promo Advert Shots are PS's....

Seeing the ACTUAL jersey (prototype/replica/whatever you want to call it) is what caused the confusion...

I think its conceivable that Nike wanted to put its money behind Man City, hence not upping its "bid"/contract renewal amount with Arsenal...

Seeing our current success, they surely must be regretting it...
 
^ 30 million quid a year. that pays for 75% of ozil's transfer fee. we can buy a player of his calibre every year now, if we want/need to. we can play in rags for all i care, so long as they get the damn colors right. i don't mind gold as long as it's paired with navy. i remember winning the league at old trafford in the old sega shirts. i hate shirt sponsors as much as the next guy, but of all the shirt sponsors over the years, "sega" and "dreamcast" have been my favorites. i always smile when my local club takes on the seattle sounders with their xbox kits. takes me back.

i'm not even a big arsenal supporter but i bought the LS ozil home shirt just because of this. i got PL numbering.... kinda regretting i didn't get UCL.
 
^ i really like the away ucl numbering. the lettering, not so much, especially what they did with the Es. i actually like nike's generic euro names and numbers from previous seasons more than the home arsenal ones from this season and last.

My son only has 7 shirts all bought at clearance prices with free shipping. I bought him 2 new shirts for Christmas, which is the first time I've paid regular price. I got him the home Neymar & home Bayern Gotze shirt.

If I find a couple of more scheckles to put together I may get him either a black Cesc shirt or a home Milan Kaka shirt.

I'd really like to find a PSG Thiago Silva for him but can't find one at youth sizes for a decent price...

My wife & I spoil him because he's really just a great kid.

i just picked up a pair and mine didnt. in fact im most likely returning them. theyre super stiff and feel poorly made. they look much better in pictures IMO
 
I'm sure they are stiff cause you haven't broken them in yet... Debating if I want to keep or return:/

Don't matter how much you break them in those will never feel good.

Usually those low end versions are pretty bad quality, there have been exceptions but never in the Mercurial line. All trash. 

Still waiting patiently for Nike to realize that people will pay $ for premium IC and TF shoes.

absolutely not. just so that fans can't get completely fleeced on merchandising, the club charter doesn't allow multiple different home kits (at least not substantially different kits like bvb). 3 different home kits in one season is absolutely outrageous. i've posted this before, but i think the current arsenal policy of a home kit lasting two seasons is the bare minimum for kit turnover. i would rather that the home kits lasted much longer, like with the nfl.

technically, the current arsenal kits for epl and cl are already different, but only because of the size of the sponsor print. the rules for sponsorship display are different for the epl and cl. the epl allows for a larger area of the shirt to be covered in sponsors than the cl does, so the 'fly emirates' print is larger on the epl shirts. the epl sized sponsorship print is what you will find on the replicas.

I've already stated that IC and TF shoes are all lower take down models of the higher end versions and most of the time they're all garbage.

I bought TF Mercurial Victory's and as soon as I tried them on I decided to send them right back, you should do the same.


I think I'm gonna go ahead and get me the Bomba Finale II's cause these TF T90 Shoots are just trash.

Damn I wasn't even aware of those. They released shortly after I got my Vapors and I probably wasn't even checking new releases. 

The stealths look dope. I wonder if anybody's done a black out customization.

If thats the Home Arsenal kit next year, not bad by Puma. it's actually better than what the Gunner have now with Nike. That blue makes no damn sense. I'm just not going to be a fan of the Puma logo being stamped everywhere on the kit.

I haven't seen any blacked out iD's.
That pair seems to be the most popular colorway so far as some online retailers don't have it anymore.

I saw some adidas WC shirts at a local ***** Sporting Good; Spain, El Tri, Germany, & Argentina.They were even more nice in person.
 
i liked the idea behind the boot, but they look too dark on the pitch.. I tend to lean more towards the brighter/lighter boots.. maybe with the lighter laces they would pop more..
 
damn germany down-graded, maybe it will grow on me .. lets hope the away looks better

Bright is nice but these would probably go unnoticed from afar but pop upclose. I didnt like the foam galaxies because they are too loud for my everyday fit (plus too expensive and exclusive) but these galaxy mercurials are perfect for on field use where you can mismatch and be loud.
