Considering this is NT, the shoes conversation is lost.. I've bought maybe 3 pair in just as many years..

I like wine, so think of niche cologne as the "GRAND CRU" of wine.. just as you can taste the difference from a $3 bottle of wine/tequila to a $150 only the ignorant would try to justify the $3 being better. Certain companies that cater to niche Perfumery are better, point blank.. whether they use all natural ingredients or the purest of ____ notes from across the word, they are constructed better than your $60 Fendi from macys and your $20 bottles of drakkar from Walgreens.

And cologne definitely lasts longer then shoes, come on.. I've gone through 2 running shoes in the past year and if stored correctly my cologne will last another 20 years.

My grandmother used to wear Estee Lauder or White Diamonds all the time and now she makes my pops get her the Chanel No.5 sets all the time now, lol

i mean i could grab a bottle, but i always be like damn that's a pair of shoes maybe two, let me just get this $70 one right here

Buy a $250 pair of shoes and a bottle of cologne on the same day.

Use each every day.

Come back and let us know which you replace first.

Every time I get a whiff of Grey Flannel I feel like I'm in an episode of That 70s Show. That stuff just smells so outdated to me. Like I'm back in my grandparents living room.

I actually bought and rocked grey flannel back in highschool.. not sure why. And Claiborne Mumba or whatever it was called.

you seem to keep trying to drive this home though; you think it's absurd which is great, that is your opinion

why do you keep bringing it up though? We deaded this issue pages back plus you keep saying the quality is the same which is 110% false

you think $250 is absurd so move on but stop with the "quality

" crap

are Lebron's and the same quality as the Starter kicks at Walmart?
Shoe quality...cologne quality...

You can go in depth one shoe tech (which is overrated IMO as well anyway, but for the sake of argument) and theres by far many aspects that justify its "quality". Cologne? Far less points, points nonetheless but its the fact its cologne (scented liquid). You can make an argument with the average joe about anything, bring up shoes and its quality and you can make a fair argument without sounding like a madman, cologne? Good luck.

In any case, moving on.

I rocked Claiborne Curve then Acqua Di Gio in like 98

Now Mumba, Curve and Grey Flannel are at every Marshall's

What was the 1st perfume you bought a girl? I remember copping the Candies gift set for my HS first love

Well of course, running shoes are meant to be beat on. If you have a decent rotation, they should last you a lot longer anyways. Same with anything else, including cologne. I still have a bottle of Curve from my HS days thats half empty. As long as the cap falls off, it should last years.

Speaking of broken caps...my bottle of D&G The One broke off. Im assuming its as simple as getting a new cap...no?

Hilarious that to me all the older women rocked the same scents. Stuff is universal

Did yours have the Etienne Aigner purse to go along with it too? Of course this back before they cost the prices that they do now, lol
