NBA STREET AND VOL. 2 APPRECIATION VOL. vol 3 and homecourt dont count

Hella memories brought back

Unstoppable team was 85 and 96 MJ and Shaq

When I wanted to clown folks I would play with the melanin deficient team of Pistol Pete, Bird, and Walton. Dimes and J's for days.

i had both jordans, my created dude, stretch and yao

chillin in the key and turbo blocking all the shots >

i know i wasnt the only one who did that

I hated playing against Yao but Shaq could still beast him

Vol. 2 was more than a video game it was art.  They really captured the heart, soul, sweat and spirit of those legendary players.  All the detail from the small gold chains to the exact body movements on dunks was amazing.  That game was the pinnacle of Arcade basketball.  The zenith of art imitating life.

this was poetic bruh :pimp: respect

I bet you it's a pain to clear all those rights for the music and NBA players for an old game.

still have my ps2 :pimp:

btw this thread is becoming as common as the 90s threads

You're not a fan of reminiscing?

:nthat:

classic games

me and my roomate brought up the ps2 and played that all day my senior year of college

NBA Jam > this. Had to say it

For nostalgia purposes maybe but in terms of gameplay hell no

This  NOT AT ALL. As great as NBA Jam was at the time, NBA Streat 1 & 2 took everything from there and made it that much better.

I haven't played either one of those in 5+, but just looking over some of the rosters, Mavs, Pistons, Kings, and Blazers :pimp: :pimp: Always rolled with them.

GOAT sports game :smokin

Just had to turn off Bobbito or whatever the hell his name was

I rolled with stretch and some other dude. This game was the goat basketball game for the game cube. I remember I can get fill up the game breaker meter in one possession. Them off the heezy passes got me so hyped, I remember pausing and repaying a dozen times when I first did it by coincidence. My dude's nick name was the satellite  just stay next to the hop and goaltend all day. I eventually ended my streetball legacy by joining the nets. kidd :pimp:
