The Following: Episode 15.....Season Finale - Finally.

Much as I loved it, I still wish it was on HBO or Sho so we could get better language, and maybe see some of these hot broads in their more natural states.

But serious, I'm interested for tonight to see how it all begins. Looks like main bad dude just gon sit in his cell while all his nutjobs do their thing. Which is perfect. :smokin

If this was on HBO or Showtime...whoa. I mean, they're pushing the envelope with their content for network TV as it is.

The angle between Bacon and Connor's wife is VERY interesting.

*CP - u gonna try The Americans? I think it has it's debut this week on FX.

Americans does look interesting, my plate is so damn full tho. I dunno, I might give the premier a look and see if it hooks me.

Missed this thread. Thought kinda like a few other shows there'd only be one thread I can talk about how much I like this so far.

Show has me locked in.

Show is good! For people that don't know, the show's premise is what was supposed to be the premise for Scream 3. The writer of this show, Kevin Williamson, wrote Scream 1 and 2, but had his Scream 3 script rejected because of Columbine or something. Stu (killer from Scream 1; presumed dead after a TV was dropped on his face) was supposed to be controlling a huge cult of teen followers from jail. Mix that premise with a little Silence of the Lambs, and The Following is pretty much what you get.

As a big Scream fan, I had to tune in. Loved the Randy/Stu reference last night by Jordy ("Those are the rules!"). I'm usually an HBO/Showtime/AMC TV fan (and I agree that this show would have been better on premium cable so they could just let loose more), but I'll make an exception for this. So far, so good.

And yeah the IMDB posters have no lives. Ignore their reviews. 75% of them are trolls and 20% are elitist snobs who don't like anything that anyone has heard of.

Don't give a damn about IMDB posters... they can spend hours of their lives hating if they want.

I LOVE the show. (so far). Suspenseful, intense, twists, great acting (so far), interesting story.

First 2 episodes have me hooked, hopefully they don't let the story get stale. There has to constantly be new twists, or new story lines added within the major plot to make this successful for more than 1 season.

But for now, i'm a fan. 8)

YOOOOO, what?!?!?!?!?

Where you hear that at? You have a link or anything??????

Loved last night's ep. That pixie bringing her boyfriend home to meet mom :wow: :wow: :wow: I did not see that coming.

And the dude in the ugly mask, chillin. Great scene.

Love how he's tellin Ryan that the slow fat dude was just a warm up, to get him back in shape. Such an awesome way to look at it.

Iceman gettin loud at the marshall in the hallway. :pimp:

I really hope this show can follow thru on where it's headed. Love it so far.

I knew something crazy would be in the house but I wasn't expecting one of the Poe heads to attack him

Solid so far IMO. Good thing, they're going 14 in a row and not splitting the season in half.

DJ's - really looking forward to The Americans. Everything FX touches turns to gold, have high expectations.

Definitely a fan after seeing the first two eps....I knew it'd be violent but I'm surprised this isn't on FX instead of regular network tv....definitely a lot of :wow: :wow: moments :smokin

Show right now is 2/2. AMAZING start to the series. So many twists and turns. I'm loving the flashbacks on all the characters. Two things I'm curious about going forward...

Who was the guy in the mask

What's the new agent's deal w. Carroll...they shared a moment when she dropped of the Poe book

I'm not sure how this was possible, but someone said the dude in the poe mask was the other agent who went w/ Bacon to the house. That's one theory I read. There's definitely a mole somewhere on the force. So many different possibilities.

What I don't understand is why you would even give someone who just tore out the eyes of an innocent young women a good book to read. Especially a favorite of is?

So you really gonna make dude feel comfortable in his jail cell? Might as well give him a full body massage while your at it. I know that the law is the law and they cant torture prisoners but I wouldn't give his *** jack **** other than water and bread in that cell. **** a book or any kind of entertainment for a dude whose ripping girls apart.

The audacity :smh:

That new girl agent has to be in on it. Remember in the house when she revealed to bacon that she heads the fbi cult unit and went on a monologue that left bacon confused and dumbfounded. At the end of the monologue she adds "or some crap like that" maybe realizing she is standing next to bacon not in the cult to throw off bacons suspicions again. Then to add further proof when she handed the book to him they had that eye to eye moment "like basically saying the plan is working" and you never know if she put something in the book.

I think her being in on it is clear misdirection. I feel she gave him the book to get on his good side and lull him in to a further false sense of security and control. I mean even he looked slightly surprised/intrigued when he got the book. However, I know Carroll will see through it and she'll probably die or cause many deaths due to this scheme.

After everything that's been set up and established to me it'd be going too far to say we got a bunch of unknown cult members turned serial killers out on the loose killing according to this apparent methodical genius serial killer's plan/orders and on top of that the person just brought in that's a specialist who is now leading the FBI/CIA investigation is secretly a cult member as well?

I don't think Parker is working Joe either even though she gave him the book.

I agree with the Zik that she's doing this to build some kind of rapport with Joe to maybe help her in finding his other followers or gain more insight on Joe himself.

Loved the back story with Emma  her mom being the catalyst to her becoming a follower. You could tell there tension between them, and I had a feeling the mom was going to get got but I expected Jacob to be the one to kill her.

The Jacob/Emma/Paul dynamic is going to end badly for at least one of them. They started planted the seeds for that outcome in episode 2.

And there will definitely be a FBI agent revealed as a follower, just a matter of who.

Really enjoying this show thus far.

How about her monologue in the house though? She acted like a cult member of his then quickly composed herself realizing bacon was next to her by adding "or some crap like that" to the end of her little speech.

It's too obvious to have the main new chick be the groupie she appeared to be. They are going to try and confuse us and stop and start all the time to throw us off the scent.

And really, when she was talking with all that knowledge, all she did was sound like the female counterpart to Bacon, they just had him sizing her up to make us all suspicious. Delivering the book only seals our suspicions, but they aren't doin that yet. Each of the members so far has been a complete surprise. The pixie, and the dudes next door were in our face the whole time, THEN revealed. Not revealed and then confirmed.

She's setting us up for something else.

We have (ya know what, i need ****** names with the pictures, I suck with remembering their names on the show dammit  ) We have Bacon
We have chick with the mole on her cheeck
We have Iceman
We have new broad
We have Mike Mathews from Dexter.

In theory, Iceman or Mathews would be candidates for being followers. Iceman always seems to find where they need to go next, if I had to take a wild guess, he's our guy. (or one of them at least) Right in our face, looks innocent, helpful, etc, yet in the end could be Joe's boy. In fact, didn't he look a little irritated when Ryan first showed up and started talking, then he played all nice right after?

Iceman's dirty. Callin my shot.

Yeah show is still new to me so I'm barely remember their names. All I can think of is the shows I've known they were on before

She was brought in specifically cuz she's an expert on cults. That's what I chalked it up to, and the some crap like that seems to be this shows humor or at least what goes for humor for the FBI/CIA on this show. To me it's the same as when Iceman was doing his little run down of Carroll with all the detailed talk and then later at the prison officer's home said "kill as many ppl you want but when you hurt animals, I really get mad." then Bacon gives him the >D

I wouldn't look too far in to it...... yet.

Man, glad to see another Scream fan on here, only thing I knew about the original Scream 3 script was that it was set in High School and the Columbine shooting forced a change. I never heard about the Stu/Cult thing, that would've been ill. Thanks for that bit.

Back to the thread topic, the content would fit so much better on the premium cable network, but glad with the way its working out on FOX so far.

EDIT: I don't usually nit-pick but the only moment I cringed and thought was cheesy so far was in the last episode when the big ol' cop did the Michael Myers Halloween H2O come down from the ceiling, I hated it.
