49ers fan punked by cute New Orleans Superbowl reporter on Live TV vol. STD

So...as a professional, you're supposed to just let people bum rush your segment?

Notice she said, "You can see what I've been dealing with.." as in that wasn't the first time that night someone did that.

What she did was unprofessional and childish. You guys think she's the fist reporter to deal with drunk people? I have never in my life seen ANY legitimate reporter respond that childishly to something on air. It reminded me of a teenage girl who can't control her emotions, not a grown professional reporter on live TV. If she can't get her emotional outbursts in check she might want to consider another profession.

Have you ever been to Bourbon St? What you're saying is so much easier said than done, especially buy a guy.

Again, so shes supposed to let drunk people run over her all night long? How would you have handled the situation?

She should have done what I've seen every reporter do when around drunk people; ignore her and continue her report. Why give the drunk chick the attention she's looking for? If she's going to respond to every drunk person that walks by, especially where she's at, she's never going to finish what she's there to do.

Said the same thing. If that camera wasn't there...homegirl would have slid her ***

what are you implying exactly? that the girl that got punked wouldve automatically retaliated with violence had the camera not been there? why do you feel that way?

i honestly feel like alot of you are pissed only because it was a black chick that got punked an that rustled your jimmies a little more than if it had been anyone else

Think of it like this, what if that drunk girl just decided to lay her out after the STD comment? What if her comment would have led to an altercation? She can't stoop down to the level of some drunk chick on the street. As a news station i wouldn't want someone like that. She's an extension of her employer and If I was her boss I would have to let her go.

The race card has officially been played.

Really now...

At some point you have to stand up for yourself and do your job.

Btw thank you for giving me a reason to find these vids.

This sort of thing is why when it's full on Mardi Gras time the local reporters always have a balcony to report from, gets you above the crowd and while you can get some footage of people being people, when it comes time to do a standup story you don't have to worry about someone walking by.

Which isn't to say there aren't some weird clips from Mardi Gras day, I remember a few years ago the local CBS affiliate had their reporters doing a story about a shooting on the parade route, and it's really hard to take serious news from one reporter dressed like Lucy in the Chocolate Factory and the other dressed like a Bumblebee, but I can't find the clip online right now.

hey, thats just what i think as far as this thread and its responses go.

of course i could be wrong. but if im even partially accurate on my guess, you know it in your aeortas before you type

oddly enough, its the same people who posted that she wouldve reacted with violence if there were no cameras there: Why do you assume that? women dont usualy resort to physical violence. what are you guys basing your assumptions of fisticuffs off of exactly?

 the reporter in fine. She don't look like a real fan she got nothing on red and gold. It's Super Bowl time I'd be decked out if I was out there. I hate band wagoners.

Ya'll taking this to another level

. The only debate on this is if she can get it or not.

Fine, fine. im not instigating on purpose, i always do things like this. its for the sake of
information, clarity, and alot of times to subtly point out hypocrisy.

but i enjoy you gents regardless.

That reads much better

Reporter seemed mad they had her with the "zombies"

so people tuning in at that moment would hear the reporter and her STD segment she just made up. She saw the drunk chick and in her mind assumed "std".

Im sure her superiors were impressed.... not

I think you're reading into it a TAD too much.

reading at TAD much would be me saying

The reported earlier that day got her STD test and it was positive. So she was thinking about it all day and when someone interrupted her... the outburst was her self conscious telling the world her thighs were on fire..

no
