You know that's right..My sons 7 and lil man stays getting me stuff outta the fridge..He ain't complaining yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he wisens up..

I can't relate to most of yall saying things about not getting sleep..My son woke up 1 time a night for the 1st year and once I changed him, gave him a bottle, and burped him he'd be right back to sleep..He was such an easy baby to take care of..

Consider yourself lucky.  My son was a terrible sleeper until we moved him to his own bed around 2 1/2.  He finally started sleeping through the night consistently and when he did wake one of us could just go lay next to him and rub his back for a little bit until he fell back asleep.  He's 4 and it still happens every once in a while when he has a bad dream, gets sick, needs to use the bathroom or whatever.  My daughter was sleeping through the night by about 6 weeks and we thought it was a dream come true, but now that she's over a year and has new teeth coming in all the time it seems to wake her up pretty often at night so we're back in that struggle...
 
I think the worse part was when my daughter was teething, running fevers - just as a parent you never want them to feel bad.

But for the most part she would sleep through the night, my wife and I kind of shed a tear the other day when my daughter's teacher showed us her work in class and said she was able to write out her name without the teachers helping her - mind you she just turned 3.

We were just saying wow time has flew by us, enjoy it.

Will start to make more of my spawn next year when the wifey finishes school. :smokin
 
Use to put oatmeal in their bottles by 3 months. They all slept 6+ hrs at night right next to me. CAL king mattress. Nice investment if you got 2 or more next to age.
 
frozen waffles work for babies that are teething... its cold, turns into mush then they warm up with slobber, big enough to hold with 2 hands, they taste pretty good...
 
Wish I knew about the frozen waffle thing when lil gurl was teething

My baby girl never sleeps on time...shes 1 1/2 and she always wanna stay up and see whats going on. I have to play the lullabys on youtube to get her to sleep on weekends smh

Anyone have any tips on bringing a 1.5 year old to a sporting event? I just bought an in real stroller to bring cause parking is a mile walk to the stadium. And I ain't tripping if that ish gets stolen.
 
**** is gonna be loud at a sporting event... even louder if its a stadium... i didnt bring my kids until they were able to at least enjoy the atmosphere...

speaking of Disney trips... my daughter is about 2 and a half years old.

we already booked for october and she know's who mickey, and minnie are and she loves lion king, doc mcstuffins.

is she too young to go to disneyland??

Hmm, I don't think so. If she's aware of who Mickey and Minnie is, I think it would be fine. I took my 2-yr old neice and she enjoyed it...But was a pain because she knocked out by 11AM and didn't wake back up til 3.

My son vaguely remembers Disney at that age when we went.. Wasn't really big enough to enjoy the rides either..
 
Yea, we didn't take my daughter until her 5th bday. Wife has this thing w/ big bdays every 5 years for the kids so we'll go back in 3 years or do the cruise.
 
Yea b.....from what i heard the perfect age to take em is bet 5-8....cuz the younger ones wont enjoy as much...and the older ones are going to find it boring. My daughter is 7 now and she would not wanna leave the place But Disney isnt going nowhere ....you can always go back in a couple of years.

Im meh on the cruise tho...would rather take a regular cruise..(much cheaper and both kid and adult friendly but with about 500 less kids running around causing mayhem).....

We go to Disneyland 3-4 times a year and have season passes. My son has been going since he was 3 months and we first took my daughter at 5 months old. They obviously had no clue what was going on that young, but they get in free and it's all part of getting them acquainted with new experiences, sights and sounds. My son started asking to go and talking about specific rides he wanted to go on at about 3 years old. We just went last month for my son's 4th b'day and my daughter was 14 months old. You could definitely tell she was excited to see the characters and was clapping and dancing on Small World and Tiki Room. She says "Donald Duck" better than she says "Daddy"... :-/
 
2 and under is free at Disneyland. I hate everytime I hear the excuse people make about they think their kid is too young. Cmon famb. Even if they don't remember it, I know you will.

actually it's 3 and under (YES!!!)

and you're right- i'll definitely remember it.

if she knocks out for a few hours i ain't trippin... that's when i'll go see the star wars stuff... LOL!!
 
I mean, you live close enough and got the season tickets then coo. Most people don't live close, hell, we drove 14+hrs to get to Orlando when we went :x If we do move closer, we'd probably go all the time. Until then, Kennywood it is :rolleyes
 
We just went last week, my son turned 3 and my little one is 9 months.
I can say they both enjoyed it, even my little guy would get excited with characters and on the rides. Sure, he wont remember but he was enjoying it.
My 3 year old really liked it. He likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake/Peter Pan, and Toy Story so he got excited when he saw the characters and got on the rides.
Got on almost all the rides except the big ones. Had to carry him at times when he would get tired or put him on the stroller.
He got to see the night parade but right after it was over he knocked out and missed the fireworks. I think it went really well with both boys.
