How'd y'all come up with names for your kids?

google --> baby names

+ good combo with surname? + other criteria

You'll have a short list eventually. Then discuss with bm, fam

We just kept throwing out names until one stuck. Luckily it happened pretty early. If it was a boy I had a name ready and luckily she loved it. A girl name took longer but when she said it something just felt right.

My girl and I chose our son's name probably just a couple hours after finding out... And childishly at that ... I was trying to make her laugh by being a D and naming horrible car based boy's names: "Porscha, Mercedes, Alexis, Dodge, Skyline, Ferdinand, Lotus, Enzo, Linco, holy **** I really like Enzo" and she immediately agreed ... We debated another 3 days but kept coming back to Enzo after numerous little signs it was the right name ... So I accidentally named my son after the founder of Ferrari ...

i left it up to my wife to name my son. i know myself and i'd come up with some dumb crap that would piss my son off as he got older.

At this point were happy...we ready . She came up with the idea of not knowing the sex till the baby arrives....idk if id be able to do it. Anyone here did that?

We found out with our first. With our second, we weren't planning to wait but life got so busy that the pregnancy went really quick and he next thing we knew we were 7 months in and realized we still haven't found out. It was definitely pretty cool to be surprised. We're 6 months pregnant with our 3rd and debating if we should wait or do a gender reveal party.

How'd y'all come up with names for your kids?

We would talk about names we liked me kind of narrowed it down. For some reason we are both drawn to gender neutral names so not knowing the sex of our second wasn't a big deal. For as long as I could remember I wanted to name my child Jordan. With our second we were pretty set on Taylor. It was the street I grew up on so it does mean something to me.

But I should not be allowed to name children. My kids names are:

Jordan Joseph Kloberdanz-Yu
Taylor Bobby Kloberdanz-Yu

It was my idea to add my wife's maiden name with mine cause I wanted them to know their heritage

Marie is from my mother's middle name

Victoria is my daughters mothers mothers middle name

We had 2 boy names and 2 girl names already picked out before our first came along. We had the same favorite for each gender, so when we had a boy and a girl, it was easy haha

Bm name and my name starts with an A, so we decided to make it a thing for us....kinda like how the Kardashians all have K .

So its been a week and the hormones are ALL OVER the place...smh. Last pregnancy she wasnt like this.

Can't believe my son will be 13 next month. Imma have a teenager. :x He's a great kid though, growning up to be a good dude. In 7th grade now & 5th straight quarter on the honor roll.

First day of kindergarten to first day of 7th grade.

Joined a new club/travel team this year. First time playing striker. Didn't do too bad considering he (the team) played up a year. Almost all of the defenders he played against wree head & shoulders taller than him. My son isn't fast but he's really really quick in short spaces. Defenders had trouble containing him because of his quick cuts & dribbling. Old dude in the pic couldn't do anything but constantly hold him....

But my kids do know that their angry side comes from pain in the past. Always schooling them to think out the box. But they rather do the "u yo daddy son" dance .
And my youngest be mugging 24/7. Always standing up for himself from the elders.
