How much they run for?

Just put my little one to sleep. She was telling me how she's still really sad about having to give her dog away (this was in September).
She's also sad that she's moving houses. (Her mom)
I feel so constrained about the situation. I'm thinking of buying her a new dog. The dog she had was at her moms house (were not together). But she only gets to spend Friday through Monday with me.
Should I go ahead and get her the dog? She's 8

Key question here is, can you take care if the dog?...

Exactly. People who get pets for their kids always seem surprised that the responsibility for that pet ends up being theirs. Even more so in his situation. We started off with a fish and my son was over it within a few days. Lesson learned.

Te be fair, fish are much different than dogs in how much a kid can bond with it...

Almost was in a similar situation around the same age. Minus never had a dog but she kept asking.

Ended up taking in a dog that was stranded. Although I had to take care of it mostly. It's the best thing that happened to us. Once her mother got situated, "Pepper" move with them.

Her mother and my daughter loves the dog more than anything. My daughter is crazy about Pepper. She says he's her best friend.

In all honestly, I miss that damn dog :frown: Never thought I would become a dog person and bond with him.

Just be prepare to have to step up and take care of it. It's like having another child. I suggest getting a puppy that you can house trained from the ground up.

First day of daycare, we are going to slowly transition her in. My lady was a complete mess, crying and everything.

Babygirl will only be there for 5 hrs.

Congrats to you! Just get some rest when you can. If the baby sleep, you try to sleep.

Don't try to worry about what needs to be done around the house...It's a given that you'll have piles of clothes and dishes lol

How's everyone's Christmas shopping been so far?..I've had, thankfully, no issues this year..Been able to find everything we wanted to get our son..Getting that Walmart lay-a-way out this weekend and then wrapping presents..

Kinda bummed cause I know this year will be the last year that my son believes in Santa..:frown:

the things we do for our children ... had me waiting in the damn cold outside TRU yesterday for a hatchimal.

no luck on a NES tho :x

My daughter is still stuck on that Apple MB Air and watch

Had to be upfront with er about next year. I'm giving her cash on a prepaid debit card

my boy just wants a toyota corolla
i see some 1:18 scale diecast models so i guess imma grab one of those.
last year he got one of those electric quads and that was a pita to stash and then put by the tree on xmas eve after he fell asleep.

Planning on getting my daughter this little pot and pans set, since she's found a interest in pots and pants...(a lot cheaper than a kitchen set, smh) Also planning on getting her the Fisher Price Bright Beats, since she likes to randomly dance to music (She started dancing to Whoop, there it is last night)

But I am trying to find something nice for my wife...She keep saying she wants nothing, but that answer isn't going to stop me.

Congrats on the new daddys :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
