Flyknit Chukka Thread

I got a question regarding the Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB

whats the consensus of the sizing for these? I've seen some say go .5 down. Some say full size down?

whats the final verdict?

planning on copping the free flyknit chukka SP, the one with the 5.0 sole

i dont own any flyknit chukkas, should i stay TTS with them or?

Saw these on IG
I kind of regret going back to this thread, cause now my wallet is probably going to suffer if these release any time soon lol.  Anybody know what they're made of? Doesn't look like Flyknit to me.

They look mesh to me

Sorry guys, a reverse google reveals they were from 2010 in japan.

Thats why they dont look like flyknit.
Nice find, that's somewhat of a bittersweet relief for me lol.  This begs the question: so when exactly did Lunarlon make its grand debut (if this shoe came out in 2010 and it features Lunarlon) I always thought it made its first appearance with the Flyknit 1s back in the London Olympics, but I'm pretty sure I'm mistaken.

They should just throw the free and lunarlon on nike-id with some color options.

I'd be totally into the lunloon sole pairs if they weren't all white. (and the one orange one)

Excuse my ignorance, but how do i look up by item number?

Is $200 a good deal for these flyknit chukka neo Deadstock? Contemplating if I should get them. All the flyknits I've had are racers, trainers, lunar 1s, and Kobe 9s.
Theres a guy at my school that i see daily running in these. Other than these being very stylish and all, how is the Lunar Chukkas performance when it comes to running?

Flyknit chukkas aren't technically running shoes. Just like the roshes, the flyknit chukka is a sportswear shoe and is made for casual wear or for "style".

I mean if you run in them for a quick minute because youre late for work or school, they are pretty good lol. The lunar sole is amazing on any shoe.

First time poster here ...

What it's like buying lunar chukkas on eBay? Are there fakes out there?
I'm looking at a pair in Nightfactor and the pics seem legit.
Thx

They're fine.  They use the same tooling as the Lunaracers, which a running shoe where Lunarlon made its grand debut.  Probably works best if you're a runner that doesn't need too much ankle support, because that's about the main area where these shoes will lack.  Other than that, they're great.  Nice, plushy goodness with each step you take.

True, but functionally, Roshes and Chukkas are on different ballparks.  Roshes feature extremely minimalist design cues and technology.  Just mesh, an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam midsole, and a SolarSoft insole.  Chukkas on the other hand feature three of Nike's most cutting-edge innovations in the form of Flywire, Lunarlon, and Flyknit.  As I mentioned earlier, they feature pretty much the same tooling as Lunaracers and same upper as the Flyknit Lunar 1s, so of course they'd perform rather similarly.  BUT, you're right, they still lack in some areas of performance such as ankle support.  Point is, they can still get the job done.

Feel free to post pictures, and your size so we can keep a lookout for you.  I don't think you'd have much of a problem when it comes to buying from Ebay.  There aren't that many, if any, fakes floating about.  Chukkas aren't that high demand of a shoe, so most counterfeiters won't even bother making fakes of them.  The only instance I've seen fakes of Chukkas would be from this Chinese website that mass produces fakes of pretty much every Nike shoe released.
