I saw this movie in the theater when it was new! My mom left the place crying because of the ending

Surprising that some have never heard of this movie. I used to see it on tv all the time. Such a good movie. Props to Lou Diamond Philips and Esai Morales.

Nothing hits me like that toilet scene in The Pursuit of Happyness and when he made it in the end. Maaaan I was trying every trick in the book not to shed a tear
Man i watched that movie the other week on tv and i felt the same way. Jawn is inspirational. Saw this a couple months ago and i think it woulda been sadder had i seen the whole movie

Word, amazing movie is an understatement.
I find it crazy how Waylon Jennings gave up his seat on that plane. He went on to rock the country music scene and show Nashville how it was done.
