Shoezeum on Pawnstars tonight and a rare 14k Nintendo game!

This might be a seismic shift...i heard nike dont bang with da owner

Of shoezeum, money probably had it with kicks & wants out.
Actually the opposite. When he couldn't afford to keep the space open, they swooped in and paid for the rest of the rent on his lease. I don't know what the situation is like now, but when he first got the ShoeZeum out there, they had a good relationship.
i hate to sound naive, but if this is really fake then they got me. i know all "reality" shows are staged, but this isnt the typical reality show
Nor are the storage shows, but they are. We've even had a NTer who worked on Auction Wars give us details.

i guess the only reason i thought this show was real is because i figured i could just roll down to the shop and see all the stuff they just bought.

I don't think the show is fake,

but right now, they are making so much money on the show, they value the show more than the store.

It's my opinion though, I might be wrong.

More info on that?

Link to the thread?

the show is 50/50 on fake. They probably pay people to come in with some high end crazy stuff just to get views, its either too expensive or they dont care to buy. Most customers are legit looking to get rid of stuff.

storage war or w/e they have now, those were clearly fake. i dont know how anyone thought or thinks thats real.

I'm telling you guys its fake and your still debating it lol.

I too was sad and depressed when I visited in person and saw JUNK everywhere and none of the employees from tv.

It was a while ago, but the thread was about Flight Club LA being featured on it. The guy said that the shoes were planted in the storage locker as are all of the finds.

So what if its fake? It's still fun to watch. You know what else is fake? Everything else on TV besides sports, and sometimes the news

i know the storage wars producers go inside certain units and place valuable items to make the show interesting..

i mean cmon you think they'd find stuff everytime..

its probably the same with pawn stars.

Fake or not, Chumlee is stupid if he would've paid anything close to $1 million for that shoe collection.  I wouldn't even go $500k if I wanted to profit off of it, $200k max, if that.  He's not fooling me with those GR AM95s...

You know what's not fake? Brandi's video *evil smile*

But I'm surprised no one posted the vid proving storage wars is fake also

Lol its a shame the collections is weak... Just a couple dunk a nothing major i can see smh...
 Chum wanted to buy that sooo bad. Mad funny when he asked, "will you sell anything individually?" as they were walking out. He was so bummed out he made dude buy him a second lunch. He was lovin the dunk section.

The guys on Pawnstars are cheapskates

How much were you looking to get for it?

$14,000

Ummmmmmm no, how about $1,000, we dont have a market for it, yadda yadda.

You think these guys lowballs? Watch Hardcore Pawn, those guys will give you practically nothing for what you want to sell.

Plus these guys are actually nice, when someone comes in not knowing what it is, they actually try to help them out.

yea but while hardcore pawn is REAL in extent, most of the stuff they show on TV is scripted just for the LULZ

Chum is definitely gonna have a part in this interaction. Hope I can get home in time to see it

The show is staged but the shop has legit items in it that you've seen on TV. There are a few legit people in there who are selling cool things and do make a deal but there's a lot of times where the producers will have an item lined up (guns, cars, etc) that they pick someone or have an actor come in and the deal is scripted.
