The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I can't find one PS4 in my area :smh:

But everytime I call GameStop the answer. "Thanks for calling gamestop, we have xbox one in stock"

The 24 closet Gamestops to me all have Xbox Ones in stock  Along with the ten nearest Best Buys :smh:

Man them things are everywhere.

And honestly I plan in getting one but I want to wait and see how titanfall is first.

Right now, second son and the show >

I was going to pick one up around launch but I brought a surround sound system instead and decided to just get one when Titanfall launches. My hype for Titanfall has a died alot tho, probably will wait until Halo launches and pick up the inevitable special edition bundle.

Graphics comparison between PS3/PS4 Tomb Raider. Much bigger improvement than I was expecting. Lora looks incredible.

As the avid video games fans that we are, do you guys have similar thoughts?

Y'all ever think about how much it would suck to lose an arm?

One of my biggiest fears is losing an arm.

Not that it would suck because I wouldn't be able to wipe my own butt, but the fact that I wouldn't be able to play these games.

Games as an art medium is the only medium that requires you to invest way more of your time/body.

I remember some story about a guy who's whole body was paralyzed or something like that.

His brother or friend bulit some type of machine that allowed him to play his ps3 or 360. I don't remember.

I thought that that was cool as hell.

I was wondering if there's like an arcade of sorts for people without arms and what not.

Basically, are there arcades for the disabled?

i played mvc2 at the arcades with one hand. it wasnt that bad

I had a friend in High School who was missing a hand and son was still savage on the sticks  :pimp:

An arm is definitely a different story though. I think it would be more challenging in certain genres than others, but there are plenty of games that can be played with one arm. Hell, when I'm feeling lazy I do that anyway

I had wrist surgery in grade 12. It got me back into turn based rpgs heavy as you can play them fairly easily with one hand.

We need Watch ESPN and HBO GO on PSN already. I know damn well Microsoft doesn't have never ending exclusive deals with Disney and HBO regarding that.

No real need to pick sides, but I agree that the PS3 had the 360 beat game-wise and that Sony looks like it's geared up to come just as hard again (eventually, 2014 is still looking kind of dry )

SCEJA boss says there's stuff they can't announce yet. I expect announcements to start trickling in soon and then to ramp up after March to the E3 season.

It was too cluttered for me. Sometimes I just wanna be left alone to do my own thing, those cops :smh:  it seemed liked they were just non-stop. I hear it's fun being on the opposide side though

I've only played as a cop which is why I wonder why people complain about the game
Chasing people down is fun

I've had nightmares about this

There was a guy at EVO who is paralysed but he uses his mouth to play and he's actually good. I'll see if I can find him.

EDIT: Here he is

Not sure how Sony sold over 9.7 million games in 6 weeks, the launch lineup was a ****** disaster :x

I think the Launch was good. Have you seen the PS2 and PS3 launch games
