PS4 MLB 14: THE SHOW FASTEST-SELLING IN FRANCHISE HISTORY
New-gen MLB 14: The Show takes the lead in franchise sales.
BY MIRANDA SANCHEZ

Sony announced today that the PlayStation 4 version of MLB 14: The Show broke numerous franchise records, including most sales in one week.

According to Sony, MLB 14’s week one sales are up almost 40 percent from MLB 13: The Show’s week one sales. The PS4 version of MLB 14 also had the most preorders and most day-one sales over previous entries. Since its release earlier this month, nearly 10 million games have been played.

Sony’s MLB The Show series is the only licensed MLB video game series available. In January, 2K announced it would not renew its MLB license for its Major League Baseball 2K series in 2014.

MLB 14: The Show received an 8.1 review from IGN for its ability to “nail core baseball mechanics.”

Do we need it more often than EVERY YEAR? :smh:

Assassin's Creed Unity is in development at 10 different Ubisoft studios across the world.

Ubisoft Montreal leads the project, with the Toronto, Kiev, Singapore, Shanghai, Annecy, Montpellier, Bucharest, Quebec, and Chengdu studios contributing.

Ubisoft operates 26 studios across the world and employs more than 8,000 developers.

These creators, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says, "will allow us to come with an enhanced pipeline of increasingly high quality franchises and new IPs. We will be able to release our franchises more and more regularly, providing solid visibility on our future revenue and profitability streams."

Unity is an Xbox One, PS4, and PC sequel set in France, and is rumored to feature four-player co-op.

I contribute that to 1. lack of competition and 2. lack of overall games on said system.

@bill_at_zeboyd But, if you took Next-gen only, @playstation says "inFAMOUS Second Son was the top selling next gen software title in April"

Titanfall still tanking on Xbone

PS4 outsells xbone with the Xbox only selling April 2014 - 115K

Ubisoft will sell more than 6 million copies of Watch Dogs, it's on ALL platforms, and there is still buzz behind it.

I highly doubt they will unless the reviews come out and they're great, which I also highly doubt
