Ocelot did not translate to ps4 graphics well at all

No?

I haven't been able to even sign in to PSN today. Apparently I'm in a small percentage of users who can't sign in today

The overuse of nanomachines completely ruined Ocelot and a lot of the MGS storyline. I'm pretty capable of understanding well-written complex stories, but even after all these years and many playthroughs I'm still confused about things like who the @#$@ I actually fought at the end of MGS4

That's why MGS1 and 3>>>>>2 and 4, although I love playing all 4 games. I still can't beat the torture scene in MGS1; when I was a kid I had to borrow my friend's 3rd party controller that had a turbo button on it to get Meryl to live

Big Boss later revealed to Snake that Liquid "possessing" Ocelot was a planned ruse in order to fool the Patriots as means of lowering The Patriots' guard against him. Big Boss elaborated that Ocelot was able to use hypnosis, drugs, psychotherapy and nanomachines to transplant the personality of Liquid Snake onto himself. Ocelot had removed the transplanted arm of Liquid Snake because the so-called "possessions" during the Manhattan Incident had caused an imbalance to his psyche. In addition, the DNA data that he stole to access and hijack the SOP system was actually Solidus's DNA, as Solidus and Big Boss shared exactly the same DNA due to the former being the perfect clone.

By adopting the persona of Liquid onto his own, Ocelot was able to conduct the full scope of his plans while putting The Patriots into a false sense of security. Big Boss revealed that The Patriots assumed that the persona of Liquid Snake posed little threat to them, due to having dealt with Liquid Snake before during the Shadow Moses Incident. As such, they underestimated Ocelot and adopted a logic of repetition. The Patriots decidedly acted against him with minimal effort, in which Snake served as their main agent due to previously eliminating Liquid Snake in Shadow Moses.

Though Ocelot seemingly died from exhaustion, Big Boss explained to Snake that he had actually been killed by the new FOXDIE virus, with which Old Snake had been infected by the Patriots via one of their proxies: Drebin 893.

That's from the wiki. GRAIN OF SALT

I'm a huge MGS fan but the plots for 2 and 4 were OD complicated.

Especially 4 - seemed like there had to be an explanation and connection for everything that happened in the series. A convoluted, often unnecessary explanation.

Thankfully with MGSV he's cutting out all the fat and stuff that drags on the cutscenes. Actors like Keifer can deliver/mocap lines that get to the point, instead of hammering home the point in a 15 minute codec call.

Me and my cousins used to do the thumb wrapped in the corner of your shirt or sleeve trick. Or you can use like a soft cloth and just swipe back and forth over the button. We saved Meryl and it worked good for the MK Test Your Might mini games too.

Anybody picking up shadow of mordor? Was thinking about it and it got good reviews but I'm not huge into the LoTR movies

I plan on picking it up when I get a PS4.

I'm not that big into the LoTR movies either, finally watched the trilogy a couple of years ago, but I was intrigued by game after seeing some gameplay videos.

Driveclub is the main reason I haven't copped fifa yet. I'd be overwhelmed with more than 2 games.

I was searching for a dc thread and realized I made one last year. Not sure if I should bump or let one of you guys start a new one.

And it sucks that you can only have 6 racers in a club.
