Seriously any game being produced or developed by Ubisoft just lower your expectations 3 levels and prepare for the inevitable disappointment

Except the rayman/far cry series.

The Division and Rainbow Six Seige look good to me. Ubi back in the day used to have some really good games. If they made a new Prince of Persia that's closer to the PS2 ones and not that travesty that released in like 08 then I'm in. I used to love the GRAW games too, even though I never played Future Soldier. I never played the first one, but I know people really want a Beyond Good & Evil 2.

Watch Dogs looked like garbage to me. Before it released. I would rather get a new GTA or Mafia III than a new Watch Dogs. I just can't get into the Assassin's Creed games either.

Mafia II imo was very underrated. I just wish it was longer, after the main story there wasn't much replay value, same thing with L.A. Noire. I would be all in for a sequel.

I never played The Getaway. I remember watching somebody play though. I always thought Sony would bring that to PS3. For me, Mafia II was fun because I love old mafia movies, The Godfather is my favorite movie

  I would love to get a more in depth Mafia game.

I had it on 360 and was going for 1000/1000 but then my power brick fried (in Iraq and roommate plugged it into the wrong converter). One day I may pick it up for Ps3 just for another playthrough. Definitely an underrated game. I know there were rumors of Mafia III but there apparently was something going on with 2K.

Got an extra DS4 from rakuten for $32.  Now i'm just waiting for a sale on Diablo 3 Ultimate.  My girl wants to play with me since she loved D2 and D3 on PC, she just loves the D.

Question for you PS experts.

Im looking into buying a PS4 (Used) off craigslist. Im not gonna do some heavy gaming on it (maybe some lite gaming), Im going to use more it for bluray and internet (netflix etc.).


If I buy off of craigslist, am I going to be able to just plug and go?

Do I need to reset the system to factory resetting? How do I do this?

Can I create my own psn or do I have to continue using the previous owners?


Why not buy new? Because A lot of people on craigslist are willing to let go for cheap.
Why PS4? Because I would like to do some gamin also. The last playstation I owned was the first PS2.

As long as you have a wireless network in your home, or wired access to a router/modem, it is plug and play. If you don't, it still is, but I would suggest downloading the latest PS4 update and installing it using a flash drive. 

You don't need to reset the factory settings, but you can. You simply go to settings > Initialization > and follow the steps.

You can create your own PSN and delete the old owner as a user.

I suggest picking up a 3 month or year PS+ subscription. You do not need it for Netflix or bluray, but to play most games online you need it. Also, 2 new games a month are free to you while you keep up the subscription.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is amazing. Probably the best looking game out right now with the best story. PS4 owners are in for a treat.

Yeah I played the first one and loved it. I would love to see someone like Guy Ritchie be on board with making that game. British Crime Dramas are my jam

Japan is the same region as us. All playstation 3 models should be able to play japan games. I own initial d and was able to play it on my phat 60, slim 120, super slim 500. Yes, I'm on my 3rd ps3 lol

Thanks for the info. It's just the playstation accounts that are region locked correct?

Let's say that the Hajime No Ippo game has dlc, I won't be able to purchase correct?

I can't speak for all games, but on initial d I could play online using my US psn id. As far as dlc I'm 99% sure that's region locked. I remember trying to get the DLC free cars and the metal trash can for Trash Panic, but couldn't because I didn't have a Jpn account at the time.

I have a question tho.....are psn cards region locked? Can I add funds to my jpn wallet with a US card?

IMO, if D4 has a successful launch, more story driven kinect games will come out.
I don't want the kinect sports franchise to have anymore releases.

I think that this game is the first of hopefully many for kinect proponents or skeptics will have to put their money on the "line."

This is a baseless statement.

Q. Whoa, that is bad. So why is the game selling so badly?
A. It was basically sent to die. It was unceremoniously dumped on the Xbox One’s store without a release date announced in advance. D4 has received essentially no marketing whatsoever. This leads me to believe that the publisher, Microsoft, lost faith in the product and told the team to halt production and just release whatever was finished. Sadly, this game will live or die on word-of-mouth alone. The game’s director, Swery, has stated that his team is not actively working on further episodes at this time and that the sales of Season One will determine if they are allowed to continue the story. Naturally, this episodic story ends on a cliffhanger.
