Why's everyone mentioning Forza Horizon in the reviews if they're not the same game?

Called it a few posts back

^ Looks amazing but i see it getting reviewed poorly. It will be docked points for not being open world

My favorite is the lack of rewind mechanics is a grave error and no free roam.

The thing is, they probably should've either gone full arcade or full sim. Nobody is going to dock Forza or GT for not being open world, or "boring" etc. Because those are strictly sims. But when you straddle that line you'll have both sides saying either it's too arcadey or not arcadey enough

And in this case, fair or unfair horizon just came out and is fresh in reviewers minds

I read the review on IGN and they mentioned GRID Autosport, Forza and PGR4

Even if there are similiarities, you should review the game for what it is and not what it isn't

Ulitimately I don't care, it's a free title that I'll play for myself and judge.

It's gonna take some getting use to for me. I didn't really play 2k14 too much. This game feels like it moves sooo slow

 I'm having trouble playing man to man defense, everybody just blowing right by me

So all this Drive Club hype and the game sucks. Forza and Forza Horizon kill this game in EVERYWAY. Amazing how that works. Where is Chris with all those Drive Club gifs? Go back and track what I've said since day one and you'll see I constantly said Drive Club looks pathetic. Same as Destiny. Feels amazing to be spot on.

You a troll but I have been saying that Forza is the best racer since the first one. I hurts to say it cause GT is deep my heart but Forza flat out exposed it.

In fact, it's hard to find any true celebration here. Driveclub is ordinary menus and ordinary races, standard time trials, and a few drift events. Driveclub is bland social competition. Driveclub is the fear of risks and the embrace of the ordinary. It's basic racing in basic packaging, beautiful and inert and full of attractive cars. It is not, however, an argument for a new generation of driving, given how it fails to exceed the standards of the old one.

While it successfully creates fast and fun races with a great sense of speed, the overly aggressive AI grates, the difficult drifting seems at odds with the accessible handling, and the single-player loses zest once the solo content runs dry. I’m also surprised at how partisan the day-one car list is. That said, the tentacles of Driveclub can grip tight if you get invested in the game’s asynchronous challenges, and it’s very much geared around encouraging us to hop online and compete by making it so easy.

Good thing there's a PS+ version. People can decide for themselves.

I live my open world titles. I hope burnout always stays open world after it made the transition but it's not a lock for a non SIM to always be open world..

You were right. Driveclub is not as good as Forza Horizon 2 in terms of reviewed score. Probably not as fun from the looks of it either. Kind of sucks, I really love racing games. Pathetic might be over-reaching. And I'll just chalk up you calling Destiny pathetic to how bad you are at FPS.

But don't you worry.... the king will be back for his crown next year.

And I have literally never posted a Driveclub gif. Ever.

Driveclub getting a bit better. Seems like a "good" game.

Similar to Killzone and Infamous, a little too safe and a little light on content.

Driveclub sounds alot like GRID, too.

NFS is more similar to Forza Horizon than Driveclub.

I just wish Driceclub was more Sim. I would love to mod out some cars in the game, but like most said it will be a free psn game so hey cant complain. They could give it a 0 and I would still check it out because it's free lol.
