The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Wal-Mart will have a online only Black Friday PS4 deal that contains: PS 4 with Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us Remastered (digital) + choice of 2 games for $449

What is the new Dragon Age gameplay like? I played the first one on 360 but didn't get that far into it.

I was reading up on Inquisition and the reviewer likened it to Baldur's Gate, which is one of my favorite PC titles.

I'm thinking about picking it up when it drops.

If you're expecting Baldur's Gate you're going to be disappointed. It's an average RPG with a strong emphasis on same sex and bisexual romance. Bioware even described it as, "A dating sim with a RPG thrown in".

So...Far Cry 4 has the greatest Easter Egg of all time. This is truly brilliant. You will never find this out on your own so click the spoiler if you're interested.
15 minutes into the game the main 'antagonist', Pagan Min, asks you to stay in the room and continue eating the dinner that was prepared for you. Most players immediately get up and escape, and that sets you on the path of joining a resistance militia and trying to take back Kyrat. If you wait 12 or so minutes, like you are asked, the main antagonist gives you a helicopter ride to the top of a mountain, where your mother wants you to spread her ashes (rather than endure a lengthy quest to get there). He reveals that he's not such a bad guy after all, and the game ends on a happy note.

Welp. That's your loss if you dont want to play FC3. Loved it.
Ehh. I was reading that they get imprisoned, raped, and executed for being those same XTREME hipsters by the natives so that makes me happy. I just can't stand to actually be playing as one of them because I won't be able to care. Heard the villain is cool. Sigh, I'll give it another shot but I'm praying it doesn't start getting edgy again.

It would help if did watch the movies and/or read the books but I think it's an original story. Hella fun too. They took the best parts of Assassin's Creed and Batman combat and have a cool Nemesis system where enemy leaders have personalites, fears, strengths, weaknesses, etc. and remember what you did to them and change their tactics.

@offwhitewhite  yea I saw the video someone posted a couple pages back and SoM looked pretty fun. I was a big fan of the Batman arkham series so all the extra blood and decapitation looked
