This, especially with PS+ as well. I only buy collectors editions at launch now, anything else is waiting till I'm actually going to play it.
My backlog is deep
I thought they caught it on stream.
Need to read more about this. Hopefully it's not back pedalling.

Over the last 4-5 months, I have billeted a hockey player at my house. I let him borrow my PS3 for his room for gaming and to watch Netflix...
All the while, I'd still jump on 99gamers and grab the odd game here and there.
Well he just left and I consolidated all the PS3 games I had. Keep in mind, all of these save for 3 I need to play/replay.
Add that to a 250GB HDD full of games I have yet to play/finish... I am never going to get to these.

It really works well for specific things. If you like new games, they tend to be way over-priced. You can still flip COD Ghosts for 35 coins. PS4 games right now are waaaayyy over-valued. I like to throw newer games I finish on there and use the coins to go through and find older PS3 games I missed out on.
And if you have some patience, you can get relatively new games for a decent price. I got Watchdogs (PS4) about 2 months ago for 25 coins, and Sniper Elite V3 (PS4) today for 40 coins
Props to @iYen for originally posting about it around a year ago. Definitely has saved me some cash without lessening the amount of games I am getting.

i read about this. They can't deny you the season pass because that's what you paid for. It was their mistake but they gave to give you what you paid. Rep at GS told me this too.

Only beat read dead, Gt V, GoW 3, resistance, last of us and both uncharted. Rest is backlog. I have a.d.d when a new game comes out I start playing it and forget about the others. Doesn't include the games at my parents apt (six, twisted metal off the top of my head) and the games on my hard drive
